Lee Han Seng was one of Singapore's more successful racing drivers. His early career consisted mainly of Lotusseses, including this very pretty red 23. He took victory in the 1965 Singapore Grand Prix at Thompson Road in this car.
His later acquisition, a Porsche 906, is also included in the WSC 60s mod.

Iconic liveries, included in the original release of the WSC Legends mod.
These were no ordinary GT40's however, as these were special Alan Mann lightweight models. AMGT1 and AMGT2. Not only were they lighter than the "conventional" GT40 MK1, they also had unique rear tube intakes mounted.
These were supposed to be present in the original mod, but seemingly vanished upon release. This should fix them. The vent 3D model was done via the WSC team, who also fixed the entire impor...

New custom textures have been completed for Sergio's newest circuit: 60s Behra.
To add to an immersive experience, I've added dirt effects and wear to the various banners, signs and bridges. Almost everything is drawn by hand, since the French are terriblé at archiving anything from the past on the internet!!

A very plain, simple livery, but one that does look pretty nice.
I haven't yet developed a fully custom decal for the Swedish sports car championship numberings, but perhaps it will come soon.
Gustaf Dieden entered it under his club Karlsgoga MK, but sadly finishing results are unknown. Two 906's also raced in this event, of which I may have made liveries too.

First Indy car livery in a while.
My first actual Indy car liveries were done for an overly ambitious company, don't think the liveries ever got released though.
Here's one based on the Lotus 38 driven by Jim Clark at the 1966 International Indianapolis Champion Race at Fuji Speedway. Japan loved Indy car racing for a brief period of time and managed to set up a race with some of the fastest Indycar drivers of the time.
Jim Clark sadly didn't start the race.

For the PG Mini Cooper S.
First release of a rally livery, ever!
I did do a rally livery of a Cortina a while ago, but those were too clean to really count. Now, I've done a proper job at this one with permanent dirt and grime.
Driven by Rauno Aaltonen and Harry Liddon, this Morris Mini Cooper S was the winner of the Monte Carlo Rally 1967. This Mini provided the BMC Works team with its third and final Monte Carlo victory.

Little bit different than usual I know, but I've had this on my cm for a long time but never had the chance to try it out myself.
So, I'd like to see what others think before I release it anywhere else! :)
8 rounds, 100% distance, based on the 1964-1966 seasons.
Semi historical grid, can be expanded upon with the various historic skin packs.
20 opponents.
Great for beginners and fun for pro's alike.

Hello everyone,
My apologies for the recent inactivity, I've gotten my pc repaired last week but it still seems to struggle with the summer heat. Crashes are far less frequent though, so new liveries will still be made on a semi-regular basis.
The poll I put up last week did very well, thank you all for the feedback. Rally was the leader in votes early on, so I started with learning dirt effects for my rally liveries (see image). I'll be doing more rally liveries this summer, so...

The winningest Shelby on record.
Charlie Kemp raced this 1965 GT350R (SFM5R538) to a record 17 consecutive wins in 1968 and 1969.
Completed on November 10, the race-ready Shelby was made available for purchase and subsequently ordered eight days later by Treadway Ford Inc., in Mobile, Alabama. In early 1966, SFM5R538 was purchased by its first owner, Birmingham resident Roger West. The sale included other associated racing pieces and a second set of wheels,...

A few months ago, managed to convince my very talented 3D modeler friend (who also made the JGT cars) to make this gorgeous Italian beauty. The 3D side of the project is now almost finished.
From here on out, development will continue to be behind closed doors as much as possible, to avoid the model getting ripped or bought out by overzealous "business men". If everything goes well, this should be one of the very best models of this car to ever be made.
We won't make any promis...

Kenji Tohira | 1941-2024
Yesterday, April 25th, we lost one of the few remaining original Nissan works team drivers; Kenji Tohira. His driving skill excelled in touring car races upon his debut at Kawaguchi in 1965, racing for Nissan's Omori works team. It didn't take long for Tohira to become a Oppama works driver, becoming so in 1969. In his multi decade long career he raced Skylines, Bluebirds, Fairlady's, essentially anything that came out of the Nissan factories. He later raced th...

One of my more famous liveries.
The rolling artpiece that is the Ferrari 250 GTO was originally seen as quite an ugly car, thus thrashed around the circuits it ran on all over the world (excluding Asia, I think).
Even this GORGEOUS example didn't get treated nicely, crashed during practice for the 1963 Targa Florio. The duke who drove it had enough money to fix it thankfully, but he did miss out on the race itself - but you can run it yourself (into a wall) now!

By the mid to late 60s, the U2L (under 2 liters) class in Trans-Am was completely dominated by the tiny Italian shoebox, Alfa Romeo GTA. The Cortinas had by then lost their competitive edge, and with fewer entrants in the class resulting in one car/driver being particularly dominant.
Let's just let Horst Kwech himself do the talking, as he desrcibed the car in a 1970 listing:
Horst Kwech-Wetson's Racing-ALFA GTA
Excellent car for GT racing or D-Production next year. Qualified ...

The Lotus 23 saw great success at it's debut race at the Nürburgring, and so, still riding high from all the publicity, team Lotus entered a modified Lotus 23 for the 24h of Le Mans that year. A sister car ran by privateers, with the same modifications, was also entered. Here's the story of how they got banned:
With the sensational Nürburgring debut well publicised in the press, two 23s were entered at 2024-04-20 15:06:32 +0000 UTC

In 1965, Honda established the RSC (Racing Service Club) within the Suzuka circuit as a tuning shop for sports users, to provide a serious tuning service. The sports car which launched in sync with this in 1966, was the S800. The S800 already showed phenomenal performance even stock. However RSC performed extensive tuning on it based on the experience gained from the S600 in the previous year, and it made its circuit debut.
The DOHC inline-4 engine was bored up from 791 cc to 845 cc. U...

T70 SL73/111 was one of two Swedish bought T70's, with the other being the more famous blue/yellow Ulf Norinder car. SL73/111 was delivered in red to Yngve Rosqvist, who decided to keep it red, only adding a "Yngve Rosqvist Racing" branding on the rear deck of the car.
The car saw fair amounts of success in the Swedish National championships, where it ran for 2 seasons. The first season, 1967, saw Rosqvist enter the car in 5 races, resulting in:

-1x 2nd overa...

Peter Warr is now famous for being the team boss of Lotus in F1 in the 80s, but in the 60s he had a career as an actual racing driver alongside his managing job at Lotus.
One of his more famous race wins was almost 61 years ago; winning the first Japanese Grand Prix in May of 1963. He'd been given a Lotus 23B from his employer, and faced a semi-works Porsche 356, a couple privateer 356's, a Frenchman's Ferrari 250GT, a Polish Aston Martin Zagato, a very old and tired looking Jaguar D-...

Not long ago, after seeing a whole load of poorly done Lotus 23's appear on various sites, I noticed Legion ended up making a nice set of good looking Lotus 23's onto his site. The mapping is excellent so here's a properly historic skin for it!

Now this is what some would call an obscure car, thanks to legion for putting it into AC.
There are few real photos of this car, a McLaren M8F equipped with a Mercedes AMG tuned 6.8L turbocharged engine. As far as I'm aware, this was an experiment for the AMG engineers, which only ran in one race at Imola in 1972. Some sources state the turbo was removed, others state it ran with the turbo. Either way, the car would retire due to engine trouble in heat 1, and failed to start heat 2 as ...

Swedish racing driver Erik Berger may be the nation's most successful driver from the 60s.
His career saw him race between 1959 and 1972, mostly in touring cars and sports cars. Each year, he competed in the Swedish Nationals, a championship for touring, sports and prototype racing cars - the biggest in Sweden. Berger's driving skill helped him to a record number of wins in the series. Amongst the cars he drove were many Volvos, but also a Lotus Cortina (ex Alan Mann) and from 1966 to...

The 906 was a very common sight on the Nordschleife by the later 60s, with many chassis being built and being relatively affordable after the initial seasons passed.
Here's another one of many, owned by Swedish driver Sten Axelsson who teamed up with Racing Team Holland driver Ben Pon for the 1967 1000km. Impressively qualified for 10th place with a 9:04 laptime, the car failed to finish after a suspension issue cut their race short.

The McLaren-Elva M1B 30/08 was somewhat of a Swedish hero, having been raced by Picko Troberg to a handful of exciting Group 6/7 races. Painted in it's bright McDonalds like colours after Troberg bought it from David Prophet in 1967, Troberg would be the first to give chassis 30/08 an outright win in April that year at the Knustorp Ring sportscar meeting.
Troberg wouldn't race the car for long however, after many DNF's he decided to sell the car to Sven-Olof Gunnarsson, alias...

For the mod: ATCC GrpE Volkswagen Beetle 1200
A national sensation amongst the legends of racing. Many anecdotes on this mythic racing car exists from those who raced in it and against it, but it could be best summed up by Dan Gurney's statement at Sebring in 1968: "If we were driving in Herbie, we'd easily win this year's race." All jokes aside, I had this livery laying around on my harddrive and decided to put it here. By all means not a perfect recreation, t...

The 101st Lotus Cortina livery!
Once again, thanks to Andrevr for the background story on this car/driver, this one does not have a happy ending.
Lets start with the car itself, which started its life as a Lotus works car in the BSCC 1964 season, driven by Jim Clark, Peter Arundell, Jacky Ickx and Graham Hill by the time its Lotus works career ended in 1967, with the car then being sold to car dealer Tony Dean (his livery is also in the pack!). Tony Dean raced it to a few podiu...

One of the prettier Alfa GTA liveries I've seen so far. This chassis, 775358, was restored and sold just over a decade ago, so the history is well documented:
Chassis number '775358' was first registered to Autodelta in Milan on 6th March 1969 and originally carried the registration 'MI-G70445'. Enrico Pinto first raced '775358' on 13th April 1969 at the Preis von Wien and drove the GTA to its first victory exactly seven days later at the Belgrade Grand Prix, winning the 1300cc class. ...
