I wasn't really sure what to offer you all this year since I didn't get a chance to finish the second part of Solomon Express (like last year), so I figured then next best thing was a Gundam Xmas story. A radically different retelling of the hit OVA, this one has a bit of a "happier" ending to it.
Thank you all so very much for your unwavering support. Not only would I not be doing this without you, you all keep me focused and dedicated. I can't wait to bring you even bigger and better...

Merry Christmas! That's a wrap for volume four of Gaia Gear! One more volume to hump through, and then it's onto those delicious Newtype spreads. If there's a novel series you'd like me to tackle for your tier, lemme know down below (I was thinking of a proper Unicorn translation, but we'll see if there's other options).

Bit of an Xmas miracle here, but continuing along with this whacky manga (no, it really doesn't make sense at times).
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Prologue It's a Wonderful World
ACT.1 Hot-Blooded Son of a Bitch
ACT.2 An Unconventional Attack
ACT.3 Showing One's True Colors

Phew! I did it. I finished photoshopping everyone's holiday gift like a good little elf! You can expect the second volume in the New Year, but this is my little thank you to all of you who have continued to support me and my crazy efforts to deliver all things Gundam to the world! You've managed to keep me focused (more or less?), so I wholeheartedly thank you for everything you do for me. I'd still love to be able to quit my job and just crack out even crazier amounts of stuff, but that's no...

While I typically don't post these here (they go straight to the site), given the sheer volume of material, I figured everyone here would benefit from a first read. From this quarter's release of Great Mechanics G comes the anniversary celebration material centered on G Gundam. I've omitted extraneous things from my translation (mobile suit blurbs, pop chart items, etc). Although now that I think about it, I may have to include that "what was happening in '94" stuff? At any rate, enjoy! I'll ...

Okay, this should've been out earlier in the month, but unfortunately, my copy of the Frozen Teardrop special talk and drama CD went missing, and I had to buy a new one (only to find it wasn't missing, just tucked in by the UC CD collection and not the Wing ones). At any rate, I've attached a cut of the "drama" portion from the CD for those who are interested. Why it was included in this book is beyond me. I'll circle back around in the future to the "talk" portion of it, but that'll probably...

ABOUT THIS RELEASE
This short-run comic appeared in Hobby Japan magazine in 1990, following the exploits of a character named Frederik Von Braun (seemingly of no relation to the MS Senki character). Though never released as its own volume, a revised version found its way into Kazuhisa Kondo's 1993 art book GO AHEAD, and later reappeared in his 1998 collection Gundam Crossover Notebook I: Kazuhisa Kondo Art Collection 1.

And that's a wrap for volume four! The first chapter of volume five will wrap up the "Three Demons of Purgatory Arc" before we segue into the "From the Dragon's Wake: Solomon Arc." Although I'm "borrowing" from the song title from FFXIV for the translation, the more literal would be "rising clouds, transforming dragon." The idiom describes the process of something or someone rising to prominence or achieving a dramatic transformation, much like clouds rising and a dragon transforming. It ofte...

As much as I've been trying to maintain a consistent stream, I won't have an entire volume out in two days, sadly. I get this series caught up with the Blue Destiny series relatively quickly either way and then can trade-off between the two until completion.

As promised, I'm going back to work on the compilation volumes that're missing. Here's the second one (volume one requires a rephotoshop of the first chapter since it wasn't available digitally until later).

Fixed a couple of mistakes, but that's now a wrap for this volume! I supposed I could've just waited until today to post it all, but... eh.

Once again, I'm now caught up completely with the Japanese releases. Stay tuned while I work on getting the previous volumes situated. In the meantime, let me see if I can break this down a bit easier since the case numbering is probably going to be insanely confusing for everyone going forward.
Cited in parenthesis will be the corresponding numbering from the Gundam Ace serialization. Remember, there was a misprint during its run, so there won't be a "case-11."
VOLUME.0...

Phew, this was a pain!
So, this is where things are going to get pretty crazy. Since Gundam Ace dorked up the chapter numbering, this volume will basically cover from case-10 to case-15 (there is no case-11 because they misnumbered). So, all that remains is the chapter from the January 2025 issue of Gundam Ace that just dropped this month (it's translated, just needs Photoshopped).
I don't have the previous volumes done yet, but I will go back and redo those for everyone. Otherw...

Phew, the roundtable on pseudo-personality AI took a bit. Sorry for the delay!
Nothing to really note on here aside from the bizarre spelling of Ivalu's name on one of the pages. "Ivar" (which you'll see) is the male spelling, so I left it as Ivalu (given there were two other misspellings on it, I couldn't trust the name).

Tied up a few loose ends, added in covers from previous volumes along with artwork from the B-CLUB issue to cover the wonky timeline entry. And with that, the first ever Gundam sidestory is complete!

I have to go back and clean up a few issues in previous chapters and pad out the missing first pages with artwork from the BANDAI printing. Expect that tomorrow along with the mechanical pages!

And that's a wrap for this one. I went back and cleaned up a couple of things from the initial releases, so apologies that this is a full-volume download. Going to take a mini break with Narrative and focus on more Blue Destiny.

This should've been wrapped up forever ago, but given it was one of the series that vanished with my laptop theft, it's time to start running for the finish line again for this much-needed redo of the title.
