Some notes about the future

So before I start, I just wanted to share that I got commissioned to paint Tod from Fox and the Hound and honestly I'm living right now.

Anyway, when I launched this Patreon I expected to hit maybe 200$/mo max for the first month and hopefully build that over time. Instead, I hit like 600$ and it went to 800$ by the start of the second month. Serra rough concept sketches

So now that I'm back from abroad I've finally begun hashing out a concrete design for the protagonist of my comic project. Her name is Serra, she likes beating people up and has a magic crystal growing in her chest. Storyboarding took a lot less time than I anticipated so hopefully I'll be able to get actual panels out in a few months :D Until then, I'll just be posting sketches (there's quite a few more that'll be in the sketch pack this month).

Nine Lives Sketches - Send in your sketch ideas!

I'll reach out to everyone individually once I get back in-case some miss this, but I figured that getting a small head start would be good.

Same as last time - throw an idea and any supplementary info. If the character for this month's sketches are the same as last month, no need to resend the ref.

Additionally. I've gotten a few requests to expand the amount of slots in the Nine Lives tier. Unfortunately, I don't have the time for May but I'm floating the idea around for June...

Thinking of doing only one wallpaper per month but making the art specific for the wallpaper, thoughts?

As in, I would make art for the wallpaper rather than edit art I already made. 

Obviously this would be more work so I would only make one wallpaper per month rather than a guaranteed 2 or more.

Wizard Cat WIP, May Vacation & BLFC

Just a doodle currently. Thinking about what I want to do for rendering this since my sketches aren't usually this detailed. Maybe I should go all out and paint it for a print or something? Lemme know your thoughts :D

Anyway, that aside I'll be headed to China for 2 weeks in May then chaining BLFC off of that. Super excited as I haven't been to China in 8 or so years! Packages shipped (and other stuff)!

The packages have been shipped today and the confirmation e-mail should have been sent out according to what I know. Estimated shipping time is 1-3 days for domestic and 1-2 weeks for international. 

If the package for whatever reason gets lost, returned to me, or whatnot, I'll re-ship it as soon as I can. Please let me know ASAP if you do not receive the package in 3 or so days at max!

Collector's Club+ April Merch Rewards

After two days of messing with printer and die cutter settings I've finally got everything prepped and ready to be shown!

Waylay - April print

Woo! It's done :D It was going to just be a random doodle but I ended up liking it enough to flesh it out completely. I learned a ton about efficient ways to render metal and better composition while doing this one, so I'm super satisfied with how it turned out!

This will be the April print for Print tier+! I'm experimenting with certain printer settings to see if I can get some really neato colors on the inks. Eheheheh

Sorry for the flurry of posts recently, after today it'll get a lot more regular.

I'm thinking that I'll probably keep doing most uploads in the form of content packs on a regular basis. This gives me a bit of flexibility in editing and curating what I upload so that it's up to standard when I throw it at y'all. It'll also be less spammy and more predictable as to when you can expect stuff from me.
