I realized that limiting the sources and projects I create to patrons paying 3$ a month was a bit nasty, so I'm opening it up to every patron, starting from 1$.
The top tier, at 10$ a month, which gives supporters their name in the credits, has also been reduced to 5$, so more people can sponsor the channel for less if they want to :)
I think this will allow more people to show their support if they're able to, and will also make everything I create a lot more accessib...

Hey guys,
First video fully recorded (apart from the audio), edited, and rendered on the Matebook 13 !
It's a 4 minutes long video, and that computer rendered it in a little over 7 minutes, which is impressive :)
It's a simple video, with a little animation mixing real footage and screen capture at the start, and my usual lower third animations over screen captures.
Setting up Kdenlive on the new machine was fast enough, just a matter of copying my wipes in the /.var/a...

Hey guys, I hope you are well.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I unfortunately won't be able to work on the channel for a while. I don't know exactly how long that will be, but probably at least a month.
There is nothing serious, just a lot to deal with right now, and the channel has to take a backseat while I sort it all out!
If you feel like you want to withdraw your pledges, I understand perfectly! You can always get back on board when I have time t...

Hey guys ! It's been a while, but I'm finally managing to put one of these out !
In this one, I'll talk a little bit more about Linux and minimalism, and how it helps me stay intentional and make choices instead of letting things happen.
Remember: you can submit video suggestions through the form right here:

Hey guys !
So, there have been a few changes to my workspace recently, so I wanted to give you guys a quick tour of what I use to run the channel !
First things first, I created a company, named The Linux Experiment 😁
I actually had to, since in France, you have to declare all revenue, including YouTube and money, sponsorships, and Patreon pledges. This allow me to keep doing what I do legitimately, so that's nice !
Second, I added a 1440p 60hz monitor. It's a nice ...

Hey guys !
Here is a small update on what I've been up to !
Hardware and Software
First things first, I got an RTX 2060. I wanted to try my hand at Davinci Resolve (not to replace Kdenlive, which I love most days, but to see what the fuss was about), and I just could not get it to work on my RX580.
It worked like a charm on the new card, so I might do a few videos at some point on how to use it, and how it c...

Hey guys !
Here is Patreon exclusive VLOG #1, in which I talk a bit about how I came to use Linux, back in 2006, with Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake.
I do have to get better at recording these, lighting can use a lot of improvement (especially here in Brest, where natural light can change drastically), and video/audio sync could have been better. I'll work on it :)
I hope you enjoy this little talk, and I'll see you in the next one !

Hey guys !
First of all, I wanted to thank all of you who decided to support the channel ! You probably came from my "Not really Linux-based video", and I'm glad you liked it enough to decide to spare some hard earned cash !
1 - What's next
Here is a little update on what I'm working on at the moment :
This week (probably wednesday), I'll release a video comparison between Pop_OS! 19.04 and Ubuntu 19.04. Pop_OS h...

This one is also freely available on Youtube, but future ones will be exclusive to patreon members !
It's my first try at something like this, so don't judge it too harshly, I promise I'll improve as quickly as I can :)
Let me know if this kind of video interests you, the next ones will talk about various stuff, Linux, open source, personal development, minimalism, and a lot of stuff.
Stay tuned, and thank you for your support !
