Pretty sunset in Ireland, 2011. We were lucky with the light that week. More to come...

This is a crop of a full 1200mm recording on an MFT camera (only about a quarter of a full frame sensor).

Works quite nice as desktop wallpaper, though I just have a black desktop background... Taken in 2010.

This sun-with-ship image (still from 4k video) in it's uncropped version, was taken in 2016 (I think), and is still the best one I got, of the sun with a ship, because the air was very calm, resulting in a sharper image.

New in the sense that it was taken in the summer of 2023 ;)

In the south of The Netherlands on November 2019

On hot days the sun tends to flatter a lot at the horizon here because the water is colder. Almost a mirage, hust not ;)

Rain causes some confusing lines in between the sun rays. Shot July 2023 :-)

Stills from the mirage seen in my older 'green flash' video. (re-graded)

Yes, only one month this time for a new video instead of 3 π Guess the topic π

A sunrise behind the horizon, lights up steam from (what I think are) power plants. Shot in 2023.

A bit blurry due a lot of atmospheric turbulence.

Taken spring 2013 (something different than a sunset for a change). Shot with a polarization filter, making the green a bit too green perhaps...

Of various attempts this is the best one :-)

Those lit lower clouds are actually from a nearby factory... Shot on april 9th.

This sunset was taken on the day the auroras appeared.

Here's what I managed to capture on this day. Nothing special other than that this was in the Netherlands. I was quite late and by the time I got to what in the Netherlands is considered to be "a dark place" the best was already gone. The last photo is actually the first one, made with my phone straight up in the backyard. Quite impressive technology...

This is the giant sunspot the caused the aurora sightings on May 11th. This was captured on May 9th during sunset, causing atmospheric distortions.
(The 'better sun an d church photo' I promised the previous 'tele tuesday' has been moved up the timeline.)

In this video I once again "virtually preserve" a forgotten old product. In this case even when it came out it was probably very unknown. This is the Schneider Boston from 1993. The first HiFi system with a GUI (Graphical User Interface). I honor their efforts...
The amount of time spend making this video is in the realm of plain silly... To the point that it doesn't make much sense. Anyway I hope it does as well as the previous one about the JVC receiver.
Enjoy π

I started the Patreon to 'chase a newborn dream'. And combined with YouTube, Bandcamp and even a bit of music streaming I indeed make a small monthly income with creating, even though I've spend quite a lot of that on things for the videos.
Still my 'real' i...

IT took various mornings to get this. However, only a brief moment per year this happens and most years it has been cloudy. Next week the best hit!

I can't decide between the wide or medium shot.

This one has been contrast enhanced quite strong, to the naked eye it was hardly visible.
