Every Chinese New Year I wonder if it's a time of celebration or time of mourning. Some years I'm able to be happy and grow nostalgic about the past, about the country I was born in, about the place where half of my family still reside. Other years I just want to forget. 

I'm an adult now, but when I think of my homeland, I feel like a lost child again. I can't help but wonder what life would have been like had my mother not left for America, had my parents not split apa...

I woke up a few days ago to Nova cuddling my face and Luna cuddling my feet. I couldn't move to get a photo so I'm drawing it instead to remember the moment.

These 2 photos are the closest I have to what happened. Love my little moon and star more than anything in the world <3

Under the Stairs

It's cozy season! Time to curl up with a good book and get no reading done at all 🌟

For this painting, I used Stable Diffusion to generate this background with one of my older paintings as seed reference.

Then I painted over the image to add more details to the background, and Kiki as well.
