I told you guys there would be possibly two guest videos while I was away on vacation. I'm actually leaving Sunday, so I'll probably make this go live right before I leave. DJ tried to make his video in the style of my channel. I think he did pretty well. It's not perfect, but I can hardly complain since I didn't have to do much work for it! :-)

This one took longer than anticipated as well. That seems to be a recurring theme lately. Anyway, I hope you like it. Also, this may be the last video I get completed before I leave for Europe. However, I have possibly 2 videos that will be released during that time from other YouTubers. One could be from The GeekPub and the other from TXDJ. I think both of them have run into difficulties so I hope they are released on time.

I skipped last month to combine it together. And I think going forward I'll be doing these quarterly instead. This will go live to the public tomorrow morning.

Whew... been working 2 weeks straight on this video. Like all of the Commodore history videos, they tend to take about 80 hours to produce. Sit back and enjoy as this is about 30 minutes long. Tomorrow I will add subtitles and a new thumbnail and release it to the world.

The kickstarter was approved this morning and it's now live. I have spent the last couple of days working on the Character LCD Part 3, which I hope you find interesting. So you'll be seeing that in another few days.

So before you go looking for the kickstarter, it isn't live yet. I'm waiting for it to be approved and I won't release this video to the world until the kickstarter is live. Which could be days from now. But you can watch the video now!

Inspired by Techmoan and his "blathering" videos, I'm bringing you a rambling video with some updates and general stuff that probably won't interest most people, but maybe you'll find something of interest.

As promised here's part 2. I wanted to include details of all of the troubleshooting steps, as people seem to want more of that. I hope I made everything understandable.

Sorry I had to cut this into two parts. However, on the bright side, part 2 is almost done and should be uploaded in 2 days. (UPDATE) I replaced the video due to a 2-second spot where there was just blackness and no video.

Ok, so this is the new version of the Commodore history episode. It includes most of the old content, and about 15 minutes of new content to round it off into a single episode.
While this episode is 35 minutes long, it could have easily been an hour or more because there is so much stuff I could have gone into more depth on. So, forgive me if I skimmed over some topics.
I still need to do closed captioning and a thumbnail. So it probably won't be rel...

This video has been 2 weeks in the making, since I had to put it on the back burner twice. Once was for waiting on parts. I did things a little different at the end, let me know what you think of my guest star.

OK, so here's the completed video that I was telling you guys about a couple of days ago. I'm still working on a thumbnail and closed captions. I won't be releasing it to the public until tomorrow, so if you see any problems let me know.

It's been 8 days since I posted a video. And now it's looking like it may be a few more. So, I thought I'd at least give you an update on what is going on. You might find some of this interesting.
After releasing the Gigatron video I spent 2 days binge programming on Planet X3. I had a really hard bit of coding to get through as I had to redesign some aspects of the game engine. And since I was really focused I just pressed through until it was done and...

Well guys, here's another home-built computer episode. Although this one has an interesting twist. I only have one other such machine I plan to cover at the moment which is the PiDP-8 (which was donated by Clint from LGR) but I have no immediate plans to film that episode.. maybe sometime in May or June.

I wanted to make this video because I thought it would be an easy one to produce, probably taking no longer than 3 days. That would have probably worked out except I had every problem imaginable. I had trouble with my video capture card, bought a new one, had different problems with that one. I had a commodore disk drive just die right in the middle of using it. I had a defective joystick, which was the only one I had that would fit the Plus/4, and just a ton of other lit...

Please don't share this video. There's still a media blackout on this for a few more days, but I was told I could release this to Patreon as long as I asked everyone here not to share it.

Ok.. so I'm dropping everything and going to start immediately working on a review of this product. They sent me one of the first units and they have a media blackout until March 27, however, they've agreed to let me be the first to review it, so I will get to release it a few days early. I haven't even unboxed it yet, so can't really tell you anything about it as of this point.

Hey guys.. This is just a quick news item. I have a list a mile long of things that need to be done to my website, but time never allows. However, I did add two important things that will also help alleviate many of the questions I'm often asked. I've added two new features to the main menu on my website. One of them is "Scheduled Appearances," which shows all of the conventions around the country I am scheduled to appear. There are currently 6 things listed at the ...

Originally, I planned this as a Patreon only, but it kind of grew a little bit and I'm thinking of releasing it to the rest of the world. The main determining factor will be if you guys find it interesting or boring. So let me know!
UPDATE - I have re-uploaded the video and removed a bit of the email rant. Hopefully this version is more politically correct. :-)

I've had this computer sitting around for about 6 months. It's a little piece of forgotten computer history. I figured it was time to finally do a video about it before it gets stored in the attic for the rest of eternity.
