Sharp, pointy, choppy things. Always fun to model. Both will be available in 1:1 scale for anyone brave enough to print them. The Claymore will have two variants, one as you see above, and one with a plane handle so it can be leather wrapped instead of printing the leather. Same goes for the axe too.
Bonnie is a bit too high poly to render out at the moment, but an update will come soon.

I was in two minds whether to put this WIP up or not as I realised I kind of buggered up Bonnie's pose so I'm in the process of redoing it...which means redoing the block in of the clothing too, so I'm basically starting her again. But then I figured, hey it's part of the process and who needs sleep anyway?
Zombie Dude is more or less done but due to the polygon count I wasn't able to easily get a render out. I'll post another WIP of the zombie when I figure out what parts I'm definitel...

Lots of WIPs for this one this month. This will likely be the last one though as I've only got the hair, headdress, chest piece, shin piece, arm band feathers and a few other pieces left. Getting the base right to support the dino dogs and be printable will be a challenge but let's see how it goes.

I figured I had better start with the dino dogs for this sculpt as I will have to set up a rig in order to pose them and it's been a long time since I've set up a rig for a quadruped so I'm expecting it to be a bit of a time sink. Now that i've got the main form, structure and anatomical details in I can begin detailing it. Having fun with this one so far.

So here is the full release preview for Medusa, being released March 3rd. Getting two figures done was pretty taxing, but I think it was worth the effort to tell a different story of Medusa that is very rarely represented by minis and such.

Hey folks, here's a preview for Medusa being released on March 3rd. I would have added a few more WIPs but having two full resolution figures in Keyshot isn't a great idea even with a RTX 3090 so I had to wait until I decimated them down to more sensible polycounts to render.

Still got a lot of work to do but the majority of Mr Soldier Dude is now in place. Just got to sort out his armour, shield and sword and then can work on bringing everything together. The base for this is going to be a lot bigger than usual with the two figures.

A lot more work on the cloth and accessories and lots of work on the expression. It's difficult to sculpt a crying face and have it still be attractive! Fixed my rig for Mr Soldier Dude so there will be some WIP shots of him soon enough.

So I kind of got a bit carried away and forgot to do a third WIP shot. I ended up simplifying the board due to the basing and I didn't like the overall shape so I made it more streamlined. She was good fun to work on overall, enjoyed sticking mechanisms inside the augmented elements.

Been a bit slow as I've been taking a bit of a break to recharge and see if I can remember how to relax (spoiler alert: I failed). Mostly been working on the board, but not really liking where it is right now. I'll likely simplify it and make it more streamline, feels a bit wrong at the moment and putting so many things on the underside will likely cause issues when basing it when I come to it. Getting things blocked in right now after modelling up the machine pistols. Suppressors will be optional on those. Big difference from the concept is the overall pose. After getting it into 3D the original idea didn't really have much dynamism too it without a low camera angle so I've altered the angle of the board and turned the pose into more of a skidding stop/sharp turn than just a straight trajectory which enabled more dynamism in the coat too.

Well...we made it. 2020 is done. At least, I think it is. I'm writing this on New Years Eve and the posting is scheduled for January 1st so there's still time for an asteroid, or the awakening of Azathoth I guess but I'm choosing to be optimistic. Firstly, I just want to say a massive thank you to Sylvain and Ambrose for acting as judges on such short notice. It sucks that voting had to be pulled, but I guess I should have expected cheating to happen. But thanks to Sylvain and Ambrose the entries were judged fairly using the same methodology and scoring system as each other and the scores are in.
