December Update: Commission information for Patrons

Thank you so much for your support this past year! 

I am especially thankful since I know 2020 was so difficult for everyone. When tournaments and conventions were cancelled due to the pandemic, it was a shock for artists because those events are where a lot of artists make most of their income. Your support has really made it possible for me to continue drawing this past year, so I am really really grateful!

Hair lineart timelapse

I was asked to give some tips on drawing hair, so I’ll try to make some timelapses of drawing different hairstyles.

Basically, whenever I start drawing hair, I no longer worry as much about precise proportions as I do when drawing the body, or parts of the face. I feel like drawing hair is where you as the artist can really just improvise, and let the pen flow freely. Obviously, it's important to be aware of things like wind (if there is any), having the hair connect back to the root...
