Haha, finally. Took a bit longer to draw both pages since I also created a 3D room in Unity as reference for the lobby.
Just curious how many people will get the reference at the end. In fact, it was one of the earliest ideas I had for a scene at the beginning of my project.

I came to the conclusion that one page might be too short to intensify the thrill of the floraptor suprise attack. That's why I edited the panels a bit and took some time to add a better view of the area on page 13. Please look forward to the finished pages. I'm pretty sure you will get the reference.

Hi folks... new page is up, as you can see.
I recently started to build up my whole setting from scratch in Unity3D. Yeah, right, the game engine which I also had to use during my studies. The main purpose is that it saves a lot of time when I draw my backgrounds because I don't have to depent entirely on photo references anymore. Back to the situation on the Sea Lion. If I wasn't too busy with my bachelor thesis, I would like to draw a complete view of the ship. It will be important to get a picture of the ship's structure in the later chapter of the manga, so sooner or later I need to add such a view once. Also can't say for sure if there will be a new page next week since it depends on the progress of my first thesis presentation next week. But I will let you know about any schedule changes for sure.

I was almost done with the background yesterday but somehow the refinement took more hours than neccessary. So we are back to our monochrome tones now. As I mentioned earlier, I draw my newest pages with a new pen brush which allows me to make some panel appar more sketchier brush. You will barely see the difference. With the next page the exposition part will come to an end.

I got a bit tired of my old coloration style so I tried something new. I think I'm on the right way with my new brushes, but still need a bit more time to experiment. Maybe, just maybe future portraits of my character won't have outlines anymore, but that depends on the next practise results.

Sorry for the late upload. Got a bit of the track with my own schedules. I tried a new approach with my coloration style but wasn't satisfied until the end. Hope you still enjoy the new pages. Another character who will make an appearance in chapter 2. He isn't actually a new character since he already appeared in chapter 1. Yes, one the last pages to be exact. We are really coming to an end, wow. It's still hard for me to comprehend this since 2 years of drawing these pages gave me really a hard time, although I really enjoyed the whole ride so far. Makes it only harder to think about a fitting layout of my two last pages which should leave the reader with a nice conclusion and wrap up the motivations of all involved characters. Personally I feel that there should be at least one additional page for a good pace but it's also the problem with weekly up...
