Painting Process Breakdown

I can not remember if I ever did an extensive breakdown of how I do a piece so here is one of Late Afternoon Chilling! :D

Starting with the completely closed off linework, I magic wand select everything outside the sketch and then invert the selection. After that I usually do some small cleanup around the edges of the selection, soften (feather) it, make a new layer and fill it with a solid Lucy Color (a shade of orange). This layer will be the base that I clip all oth...

Here is a little sneak peek for an upcoming piece I am currently doing and a little trick I thought might be interesting to show. :>

I wanted Lucy to wear a shirt with a silly slogan on it and that slogan to wrap a bit around her breasts. But the software I am using, Krita, only has a very limited liquify tool which is not really adequate for that task. So instead of using that I decided to just do it in Blender.

I imported the slogan and Lucy as separate PNGs with Blenders "...
