New Video Should Drop Some Time Next Week

Just giving an update with the thumbnail for the next video. This next project is way, way more ambitious than I ever thought. The script is coming together, & it started just talking about an anime, then it expanded to movies, then lost media, and eventually turned into a full on retrospective. Script Done. New Video should drop Wendsday

With the help of some of the patrons the new script is basically done. I'm going to be recording today or tomorrow & hopefully have the video ready  some time mid week.  This anime is a weird one, so weird I think the company that made it may have actually blocked it's re-release because they're not proud of it. Just a General Update

So WOW, seems like that video on Dragon's Heaven is really resonating with people. Even Makoto Kobayashi on Twitter liked my tweet linking to it, so that's about as much of a direct endorsement as you can get. I'm currently trying my best to do a video at least once every 3 weeks now, but I might do one every two weeks if I can find the time. Looking For Discord Mods

Normally I wouldn't even consider a discord, but with the world falling apart around us I figure having a backup place to keep in touch would be a good idea. I'm looking for a handful of mods to do a test run. If anyone has any experience with discord let me know & we can try it. The plan would be to have a full on Patreon only discord if everything works out. I know a lot of people have been asking for it, so let me know what you think. 

Just An Update on my Situation

so as I'm sure you're all aware, basically every job in the U.S. has shut down & I'm currently out of a job as most americans are right now. This is probably going to mean longer videos more often since I can't live off savings forever. If you guys have suggestions for things you'd like to see from the channel I'm open to suggestions. New Video Will Be Longest Review Ever

I did not think it was possible, but the new video is looking like it's going to be 30 minutes long. That's over 600 individual 3 second edits, so it's taking longer than I'd like. In these hard times I'm sure you guys could use a video about me completely losing my mind over how bad cahargeman ken is, so I hope you look forward to it. All the audio is done, I'm just editing the actual visuals in so it's around 75% done. Should be out in 5 days or so, 7 if something happens. 

The Worst Anime of all Time (even worse than nora?)

I'm seriously considering talking about the insanity that is chargeman ken. Thoughts?

That's a Big "Oof"

Either the video was horrible or youtube isn't sending it out to people. Could I get some feedback? Apparently this is my worst video if youtube's data is right. 

New Video's Up

Nothing fancy this time,, but I had fun with this one. Didn't say it in the video but the entire thing is on youtube if you want to watch it. Youtube seems to think delinquent shows where you punch people's teeth out are for kids though, so those videos all have their comments sections turned off which is sad, but at least you can watch it.

Might add more technical info on the director, but It feels about finished. Been thinking of setting up my old black & white TV again like that Lain Video too. Are you guys pro or against more footage of VHS tapes running on small tube TVs? I've been thinking of working that into the reviews. 

Channel Update: Everything's Fine (for now)

So as you may have noticed the new youtube update just hit, & many videos seem to have had their Comments removed & become unsearchable. I just checked all my videos & not a single one of them has any issues, so I guess the 30 year old boomer who watches anime on VHS is safe for the time being. Hard at work on the new video, if you notice anything out of the ordinary feel free to let me know.

Thumbnail Preview

Throwing around some ideas for what the new video is going to be about & think I might cover a Karate Anime next. Which of these thumbnails looks better? The one with the live action picture looks more clean, but I have a feeling more people would click on the first one with the blood.

Update: Videos & Stuff

The good news is the Creamy Mami Retrospective is officially my best video as far as watch time goes. Most people watched it over 8 minutes! That's amazing. The bad news? Youtube isn't pushing it out to anybody...I went & changed the thumbnail which looks like it's helping a TINY bit, so we'll see if it picks up, but don't expect it to do well (cross your fingers, you never know).

Thumbnail Madness

For anyone wondering why the thumbnail doesn't have Creamy Mami IN it, I must have went through over 50 thumbnails before youtube didn't flag one as inappropriate. I guess it's because she shows a little skin? I have no idea. Hopefully the one I was allowed to use looks good enough. Just a little insight into why this video took so long.

New Video 90% Done (up today or tomorrow?)

All the audio and video is edited. Video is around 14 minutes long. I wanted to record some lines again (I say the word "fan" around 15 times instead of referring to doujins) but I've got the flu & it would take me another week before I can re record anything, so I'm editing it together as is. Youtube's been getting crazy lately & I have no idea what's going to happen to my channel in the next few months, so this is just a thank you. I appreciate you guys supporting me. Anime channels in general might have to be all marked as kids channels regardless of the content of the video soon, so the support you give on patreon means a lot. Cross your fingers & hope for the best I guess. 

RIP Twinkle NORA Rock Me

A company just blocked the Twinkle NORA Rock me Video worldwide because of the Golgo 13 clips. Will be redoing it from the ground up, or omitting that entire section about the 3D sequence. Hopefully Youtube Allows me to reupload it with the edits.

New Vid Should be Live Monday

Better late then never. I didn't think I would ever do this video since it was suppose to be a 3 minute footnote for the end of that first video I did on Hana no Asuka Gumi, but it's coming together better than I thought it would! Done Recording for Next Video

So the audio is done, I hope. I did the entire thing & it was beautiful, but then audacity decided to delete all my work. Many angry 5 hour energy drinks later & it's done. Despite all the caffeine I think it'll still be around a 14 minute video. Half of it's the circumstances surrounding me finding the tape, the other half is me talking about the anime which is a good balance I think. Video will probably drop some time this week. 

The Second Asuka Project has Begun

Got the tape in my hands & I'm writing up a script for the next video. Should be done & uploaded some time next week if I'm lucky.
