This did pop up on my feed so I was at least notified. I was happy with the video as I learned about a new series and I enjoyed your presentation. Didn't really see any issues with it at all. I'm sorry to hear it didn't do well. Don't be discouraged!

I also believe the issue is lack of clickbait. video properly showed up in my subscription feed. The video itself was of expected great quality. Don't stop covering manime just because youtube algorithm doesn't prefer such topics!

On the technical side, I did get a notification, but I am subbed + "all" belled for your channel on YT. With feedback I'm not too sure, this is the kind of content I like: learning about some "new" anime that I haven't heard of, plus the history/context around it. My guess for the public/non-sub/newer views is probably a lack of waifus and topics that are mainstream (isekai, harems, etc). I took a peek at some other channels with a more mainstream audience and there was still a pretty noticeable delta in views between if the video was titillating or talking about mecha. So I would guess the same style of trends are reflected here, but magnified more since we've got the extra older anime obscurity layer. On top of that last bit which was more speculation, heres another thing with this "season" in anime, we dont really have a ton of firey/everyones-talking-about-it new shows that I see videos getting made about/episode analysis/etc. So anime video viewership in the area of "hey look at this new (or old) anime" might be down in general due to a weak season of current anime.

It showed up in my feed just fine (I almost never have the problem with videos not showing up) and I watched it right away. As somebody above said, not having a cute girl as a thumbnail or a striking text might be another problem. After all, clickbait works for a reason.

I have to agree with the above. I didn't get any notification from Youtube, I knew it was up because of an email notification from Patreon. I think it was a good video. I really hope it isn't because of the thumbnail that Youtube is not circulating, especially since I thought it was a good thumbnail. EDIT: I'm a little blasted at the moment. Tomorrow, I'll watch the video again and try to come up with constructive criticism.

Youtube hasn't been sending me any notifications for your videos nor have any of your videos been popping up in my subscribed feed, recommended, or anywhere else. If not for patreon, I wouldn't know when you upload. The video was great as all your other ones, it's just Youtube screwing you I think.

When it came out it didn't immediately show up on my feed even though I already subscribed to you. I only realized you've uploaded a new video when I checked Patreon. Content-wise I enjoyed it as much as your other videos, certainly not the worst one.
