Tiger - a study in pastels

Sometimes you're just not in the mood to do the stuff you're supposed to be doing. These days, I've been working on a comic script, non-fox -related graphic novel that I'll either need to find an artist for, or figure out how to get the patience and confidence in drawing on my own. Usually, I manage to write out one scene per day.

 Today, instead, I painted a tiger.

The Bee

In reality we didn’t have the time to get a pretty glass jar, we put the poor stunned bee into a thin plastic container with air holes punctured to the side. Once she woke up - almost as soon as we got her indoors and she got some sugar water - she started angrily buzzing about and kept it up all night. I was too scared to sleep so it kept me up far into the night.

She was happy to leave the next day, as soon as it was warm enough to let her go.
