The smell

Based on a real incident, although he recognised the smell before finding the source: my library book’s binding smelled like formic acid.

The finnish word for formic acid is ”acid from ants/acid of the ants”, and we took like 35 minutes before I could get him to accept that in english, ”ant-acid” just means ”anti-acid” and has nothing to do with ants. He still thinks that’s rather stupid.

Wake up

Based on a real incident, and getting licked by a human is not as fun as one would think. But it worked.

Same Hat

The foxes don’t have clothes so you couldn’t tell, but we have remarkably different styles of dressing. I like to have punk-ish clothes, usually not too wild and outrageous but colourful and fun. He likes wearing earth tones and practical things, most of this clothing is either camping gear or from military surplus stores.

Funnily enough, a big fluffy army-style winter hat with ear flaps fits us both just as well.

Random ramblings

I am full of so many completely random pieces of trivia that will never be useful, it’s amazing he has never asked me to shut up.

Various noises

He makes a different sound at different places when he’s poked or kissed. I’ve suggested it might be a good idea to have one noise for things that feel good, and one for things that feel bad. He does not comply.

Sleepovers

Due to the nature of my school, some things have to be done by hand. If we transition to 100% online school, I can move back to his place full-time.
