Who is watching them from the forest? The crew is...

RPPR Illustrated: The New RPPR Actual Play logo!

I recently realized I had not updated the RPPR Actual Play podcast logo...ever. So, Patsy and I got together to discuss it and he came up with a brilliant new logo! I've updated the website so the new logo should start showing up on podcast apps sooner or later.

Early Access: Call of Cthulhu: Cotton-Eyed Joe

June, 1956: A team from the Royal Jaune  Records label arrives in Bon Marais, Louisiana, in search of the  original lyrics to the popular folk song "Cotton-Eyed Joe." The family  of local folk legend Rory Welch claims to have those lyrics and have  promised to release them...for a sizeable sum, of course. But dark and  terrible things lurk in the Louisiana swamps, and you may find  yourselves getting more than what you bargained for in this lyrical  deal. View Post

Vote on Scenario Writeup #1

As described in this post, I am experimenting to see if patrons want original scenario writeups. I picked three RPPR Actual Play episodes that have no official published version. They are:

Online Game Announcement and New Reward Idea - Original Scenario Writeups

New Reward Idea - Original Scenario Writeups

Over the years, I've run a lot of original scenarios that I never fully wrote up for publication. A lot of listeners have asked for those scenarios so they can run them and I have to say no, it's just an outline that's not useful to run.

HOWEVER, I just had an idea. I normally run 2 online games or 1 online game and 3 consultations for listeners with RPG running/game design questions. I can use that time I would normally reserve...

RPPR Recommendizer: Rifts

We've started a Savage Rifts campaign but what is Rifts? It's a thinking man's game for sure, but what kind of media can inspire a game or Rifts? Tom, David, Thad and I discuss many potential sources for inspiration.

(Thad had network problems during recording - I fixed them up as best I can but there's nothing else I can do about it.)

After Hours: Dark Conspiracy - New Orleans Part 2

You can't have an adventure set in New Orleans without a trek into the swamp. Chris and I look at the second half of Dark Conspiracy: New Orleans as the heroes somehow are led into the swamp in their quest to avenge Lou, the missing reporter. There's monsters, mayhem and a lot of helpful NPCs out there. Kind of weird how many helpful NPCs there are in the swamp to be honest.

Mutants in the Now - RPPR Recommendizer
