Something quick for you sweet bees! This scene is so cute. I love what a little cartoon Aziraphale is when he tootles around the city.

I confess I started using one of those coloring apps and it’s super relaxing. I wish I could create something like that, where you just tap areas to color them in. You’ll just have to do it the old fashioned way!

(NSFW WIP) Scissor & Ink: Center of attention

Been too long since I drew a) smut, b) the Scissor & Ink boys. I didn’t sketch in all of Ezra’s tattoos, but they’ll be there in the finished piece. Anthony gets acquainted with a new strap while Ezra gets his joy watching his boyfriend come apart. ❤️

I’ve had some trouble getting time to work on art lately, and I don’t usually post more than one of the same WIP, but I just wanted to let you guys know I am working on stuff. I kind of want to try something weird with this, after seeing some art that inspired me, but it’s hard to break out of your comfort zone with coloring styles, at least for me. But we’ll see!

What’s on the menu here, on my Patreon? Well, March was very quiet for me (and thank you to everyone who stuck with me — you mean the world to me). My goal in April is to finish a couple colored pieces, get a couple pieces of smut out to ya, and do another paper piece. Cross your fingers for me, but it should be doable.

WIP: Record shop

I didn’t think through how much was gonna have to go into a thing like this, but it’s a fun opportunity to showcase some favorite albums of mine and my loved ones. Aziraphale is holding the jazz record that my dad played most often when I was growing up. The cut “Blue In Green” with John Coltrane is my favorite, and always feels like home, like coziness and sophistication, and I do think Aziraphale would like it.

Flower shop

They take a stroll through Chinatown, and Crowley buys a bunch of tulips. It has nothing to do with Aziraphale taking a special detour on the way just to show Crowley the tulips blooming in the park. They're not for Aziraphale, he just wants Aziraphale to hold them so he can jam both hands in his little pockets, and then he'll conveniently forget to take them when they go back to the bookshop. And somehow they'll stay mysteriously in bloom for a month.

Popsicle paradise

NSFW: Morning cuddle

The actual smut is like, less in the spirit of smut than the technically SFW Aziraphale in drag, but you know what? We stay comfy in this house. And I’m feeling my gay oats lately. I want to see these non-binary babes enjoy some squishy fem presentation on a cozy summer morning in their cottage. And I made the effort for a nice setting, finally, which I’m good for like once every six months. 😄

WIP: Lucky lion

This is going to be this month’s paper piece! I’m really looking forward to coloring that dancing lion — I’m kind of obsessed. We have a LOT of small ones in our house, and a kid-sized parade head. Some day I want to try to make my own full-sized head just for fun!

Drag demon

Not smut, but in the spirit of smut. I may have gotten a little carried away, but in my defense… Aziraphale is pretty hot. Honestly, I’m not great at outfit design on my own and I almost always use references for fashion, but this one was straight off my head and I think I kinda killed it?? The sparkles really make it. I don’t love how the half gloves give the illusion that Azi’s waist is really snatched, but oh well.

And what would Crowley have to say? Just a strangled...

WIP: drag demon

It was suggested that I do Aziraphale in demonic drag to match drag angel Crowley, and I said YES please. I really love this, and I’m excited to color it, and I also just like the way it looks as ink, so here it is. Would Crowley burst into flames?

Love letter

Finished up this piece and changed some colors, and I like it much better now! I wrote about the Malaysian “love letter” cookies in the menu post on the first of this month, if you’re curious. I believe Crowley would eat anything Aziraphale gave him to eat without any hesitation.

These little Malaysian crepe cookies are new year’s treats, often called “love letters” — lovers would roll or fold secret notes into the wafers and pass them on. When your partner eats it, apparently, it means they have taken your word to heart.

Last night on earth

I imagine Crowley making peace that he’s never going to see Aziraphale again, content to share a last dance before they sit down for a drink and Aziraphale reveals this his sleight of hand has saved both their asses. In those moments before, maybe he had no regrets, as long as he was holding his angel close, hand in hand, moving in time.

Berries for us meeces

This is not my usual fare, but it turned out very cute — my friend E and I as some little mice!

I’m working on some GO pieces now, but my recovery has me laid out a bit longer than I expected. (I had finished this prior.) More is coming, I promise!

Where you belong

All December I worked on this portrait of my best friend E (they/them). They’re incredibly brilliant, patient, kind, compassionate and wise. Devastatingly funny, clever and talented. Stronger than they should have ever had to be. So beautiful it makes me short circuit on the regular. And they see the good in me. Since knowing them, I feel like I’m a better person.
