WIP: new shoes

I got an idea for this month's paper piece, featuring these great floral boots I saw ages ago. He's just getting some of the nice breeze on the steps of the South Downs cottage whilst rereading an old favorite.

The NSFW thing has turned into a two page comic, and there might be more. I'm not trying to get super fancy, I just wanna get you guys some SMUT, but it's takin' its time. But I'm working on it, I swear.

Mermay Crowley! a delightful collab

The phenomenal ProfessorFlowers invited me to do a collab for May, and they designed the most GORGEOUS merCrowley inspired by a lionfish. LBD 03: jewel bones

To round out my black & gold triptych, an '81 Mugler silhouette with '95 Chanel embellishments. This one I feel is most femme, but as with all of them, gender is a construct, you can basically take or leave it. God knows Crowley would.

Thank you for being patient with me while my friend was vsiting. She's back home and now, and I miss her terribly, but it's so nice to know that the world isn't as big as it feels sometimes.

LBD 02: demon dagger

This is inspired by a season from Heaven Gaia, who did a dragon motif. I switched it up for scrollwork and some heaven/hell themes. Not technically a dress, but it's in the spirit of the LBD. The Heaven Gaia models did carry daggers on the runway -- now that's a statement.

I had the notion to throw a hat on him after I'd done the hair. It looked just right, but please appreciate that good hair I did. Sometimes you gotta kill your darlings.

White light

Everybody has their themes that they back to again and again, and I guess for me it's Crowley with weird stuff coming out of his head holes. No special meaning, I just desperately love the imagery.

LBD 01: killer kitty

First up in the Little Black Dress collection, a slutty fishnet thing Crowley probably got at Party City, paired with a Boulet Brother bang/high pony combo and some Elsa Peretti bangles worth more than my car. Note the spikes, lads: the demon's not here to play games (at least not the ones you expect).

Boy I could use some of whatever's in that bottle right now. I spent the last two days in bed and I'm about to get right back in.

Orange kiss

A stolen smooch in the grove. 🌿 I finally finished this paper piece, I’m sorry it took so long. I think it looks nice though! As usual, the colors look better in person.

Later today I’ll draw the name of a Lucky Cat or Nazar to receive the original, and another to receive the white crow Crowley piece. Unfortunately I have caught a cold, and for now I am going back to Bedfordshire.

Looking glass

Crowley helps Aziraphale pin up her fetching Gibson girl hair. Probably picked out her pearl earrings and helped her get into her tricky corset. Just things you do for your best friend. Just gals being pals. ❤️

Rabbit on the run!

Finished this absolutely ridiculous contribution to Blair's DTIYS, in honor of his hitting 2K on Twitter! I've done... exactly one? One other DTIYS by someone else, I think, which really says how much fun I had with this one. I never draw really goofy faces, but I can see why people get so into it. Also never have I ever drawn Crowley's white suit before, and it's uh, it's very nice!

WIP: Rabbit on the run!

Ezra's like, "Yes! Yes you may!" It might be the first time he's been asked that and he is stoked. It helps that Anthony really, like really knows what he's doing.

I had gone back and forth, not committing to whether or not Ezra was trans because I kind of wanted folks to make their own choices, but fuck it. More trans joy is always in style.

When he gets his wits back about him, Ezra's gonna flip Anthony like a pancake and give as good as he got.

Get out

I'm working on both a paper piece and that Scissor & Ink smut, but it's taking me a little while, so have some rage art I've been sitting on in the meantime. I guess I could get into it, but if I've learned anything in the last six months, it's that it's best to keep it hush and leave it to vague rage art.

Which is cooler, the black or the raspberry? I would totally put this on the back of a black denim jacket.

WIP: flower shop

They take a stroll through Chinatown, and Crowley buys a bunch of tulips. It has nothing to do with Aziraphale taking a special detour on the way just to show Crowley the tulips blooming in the park. They're not for Aziraphale, he just wants Aziraphale to hold them so he can jam both hands in his little pockets, and then he'll conveniently forget to take them when they go back to the bookshop. And somehow they'll stay mysteriously in bloom for a month.

Scissor & Ink: Treat your darling

Way back in the distant month of November, Jillian requested hair washing, and V  saw that and raised Anthony getting his hair washed for a change. I loved the idea, and I finally got to sketching something sweet. Maybe Ezra came for an after-hours trim up, and decided to treat his boyfriend to a nice wash, scalp massage and blow-dry. Anthony is currently melting away, like butter in the pan.

Edin on Twitter started this wonderful thing where you draw the ineffable in your hand and I had to join the fun. I threw it on social media straight away so I wouldn't be late to the party as usual, and I'm putting it here in case anybody missed it.

There is only one place on all of Oahu that sells cinnamon sugar pecans, and it's at the college baseball stadium. Baseball season is so sweet. Aziraphale and Crowley enjoy some sugared pecans on a lovely day out, maybe a local fair.

WIP: Orange kiss

So this month has been rough. I spent last week being violently sick, wound up in the ER, and after antibiotics and heavy painkillers, I'm okay now, I feel almost tip-top. Because of this, I just couldn't finish the second paper piece in time like I'd wanted to. I got as far as the ink, and here we are. So this will be done in April, top priority. Four (more) styles

Another quartet of hairstyles we haven't seen on Crowley yet; a young Neil Gaiman look, a Brigitte Bardot (I had to), a 1920's bob suggested by my dear justajemreally, and a wavy fade. I just really love drawing hair. I think this is my comfort thing.

If you can think of other styles that don't involve beards (I love beards, just not on Crowley) and don't look too similar to what he's already had, hit me up. No Flock Of Seagulls.

White crow

Finally got to finish this paper piece, which is just ink. It's simple and sad and I hope it's a comfort to someone. Leucism is different than albinism -- leucistic animals might have a little bit of pigment. I think most leucistic crows are light gray. But they're rare and wonderful and inevitably outcast by their kind. I think Crowley might not see that he's rare and wonderful, but Aziraphale does.

Many years ago, I dreamed that I was with a group of people who were in a huge, grassy valley, hemmed on either side by old-growth forest. A white dog was with us. A storm was coming, and we ran up the slopes into the forest to avoid the flood water.
