Next adoptable idea I had, thanks to a discord I'm in.
Likely redesign a bit before I start any sheet with her. I want her design to be mildly complex and this may be too much. I also want some specific design elements around her torso I mostly failed to implement.

Alright armor slightly redesigned and finished! Still a bit more work on the presentation of info I think, but this is close.
I plan to give it some basic L+S next and maybe by Monday I'll be ready to list her :>.

Okay this is the likely official sheet for the adoptable, underwear version. I don't know if I'll always have an underwear version for every adoptable 
I admit that I've been strangely slow on this. Perhaps I'm being too meticulous. Not sure! Anyway, will draw outfit tomorrow and maybe do some rendering on both. We'll see!

Ahah, the plan was always to re-draw the entire sheet for the final!
The poses in the first one are okay but boring to me. So what I may likely do is make the first sheet I showed everyone one of the bonuses along with whatever else I produce.

Alright final sheet idea. Other characters may get a setup like this. Maybe only a sheet, and bonus sketches may appear later?
I'm very likely to redraw this all with a thinner pencil or go ahead and ink and color. I'll decide tomorrow. Bit disappointed in myself in how slow I went today but I always get a bit slow when it comes to designing and organizing things.
I'll contemplate more tomorrow.

Tinkering on an alternative sheet. After feedback from some fine folks I am going to perhaps draw a couple alternatives as I figure this all out. Maybe a third shot of this gal on this sheet, along with info, and that's what gets presented to the public for sale/bidding? Lots to think about.

Recently DeviantArt added support for Adoptables in the form of a UI update. I don't know 100% if I'll sell them through DA (because of DA fees) but I would be interested in trying out designing a few and see how...

Okay little risque. I was thinking, "what's the best single image for a thigh high?"

Doing some character designs for a one page comic a friend of mine helped inspire. I can tell the fire in my brain has fully reignited as I can now 'see' the art in my head once more. This will be my final personal piece before I start back up on some work for clients.
Plant gal is very inspired by previous iterations of one I've drawn a few years ago which were based on Florans from Starbound. Nice game if you've never played and somewhat enjoy Terraria like games!
She is too top heavy here! Those things weigh like 120 lbs a piece or something! (Number exaggerated for dramatic effect.)

Alright got this colored with some light Lights and Shadows. The funk is almost gone. I can feel it dissipating but just a bit more pushing is needed.

Alright I saw someone make a post with them drawing a couple characters in this pose and hey!
It got my brain woken up. The fire got rekindled just a bit to draw something not emoji. I'm not going to declare that I've broken the funk yet but this is the step I needed. If I can see this image through to completion then I'll know I can stick to the canvas and get this train running once more. There's a couple very patient folks waiting on me for some work...
Started to get a hit for it but my drawing arm decided to start hurting so I stopped. The ball was almost rolling.

My struggle right now is getting things to stick to the canvas. I am at the canvas, which was half of the problem, but right now it feels like I can't "see" what I want to draw in my head. This makes it so that I become hyper critical of anything I draw as I am evaluating it against itself rather than what I see in my head. I'm doing my best to defeat this problem and well, as I stated before, sometimes I need to break victories down sm...
Recalling info from one of the art teachers I've listened to/learned from in the past: Sometimes to drag yourself out a rut you need small victories. However small, will pull you in the proper direction to make greater ones.
So- I asked myself. What can I draw for a minor victory?

Two months later I return to the canvas.
Been playing Stardew Valley this last week and started a modded run. Friend and I got talking about adding NPCs through mods because the tools are out there and the concept of a Wizard who visits town came about. Forgive me for my art absence, I'm alive. It seems the same story as from years before is playing out again: brain is creatively dead and nothing on the canvas sticks.

I'm going to plan to pause payments for February if art doesn't resume soon. You'll notice this pattern of pausing payments time to time. I do not desire to be paid when I'm unable to get work out. I would much rather money be sat upon until I am in proper form.

Alright I finally peeled myself away from the game long enough to finish this.
Official Panthala design for WoW 2022 is now finished! In all likelyhood she will either swap back and forth in future art from a Draenei to the design I made for her earlier this year. It will depend on my mood!
