Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia Echoes roster possibilities!

Okay with the mention of fire emblem, here is the character roster sans names of those who are potential!

I kept names off and affiliations off so as to avoid major or minor spoilers, though, I imagine you can see who is the bad guys based on how utterly evil they look.

I may start sketching some stuff from this roster soon! Seems fun. Without spoiling story, feel free to name drop who you are most interested in seeing drawn. If you don't know names then go here:

Adoptable 12 - Colored sheet!

Okay productive days are coming and going. Time is running out for me at home so whatever I can get done now will be important! I hope to finish this sheet today or tomorrow. I'm also going to try to get sketching done daily if possible! Been playing Fire Emblem: Shadow of Valentia ECHOES and the designs of some of those gals got my brain working. The Because Wizard may find herself in Valentia to start up some hijinks. More on that soon!

The new tablet came in! Thank you to everyone! From supporters to donators to friends to fans to all! I've already given it a test run and this is a worthy upgrade to what small tablet I had prior. I'm excited to put this through its paces up North and hope for a bountiful harvest!!

We're home!

As fast as I left I am home! Dad's surgery went well and we are well off. Thank you all for the kind words. Very soon I will detail the big departure. I can say for now that it's nearly guaranteed to have us leave on October 28th and be gone for roughly 100-115 days. More info soon!

Trip up north! (Not the big one, not a major emergency)

I am taking an emergency trip with Dad up north. They want to do a heart ablation on him before his bone marrow transplant. They thought they could do it on Dec. 5th but when they all met together they realized, "Oh, hey, we could do that Oct 10th. At noon." So we will be leaving in about ... 10 to 11 hours :>

Okay- Was in a bit of a mood for this sketch. Day was almost a loss due to corruption happening to a mini-PC I'm preparing for someone. Spent all day fixing that! But midnight struck and my brain went, "Work on the adoptable sheet, and sketch. You are not done yet."

The problem with abandoning vectors for sketch is that it makes it harder to do simple flat colors quickly. I'll figure it out! Woulda done them now but headed out of the house.

Boy this image went through a journey. I struggled hard with getting it done but managed to do so and it turned out wonderful!

I included both a textless version and the previous image, all at their full resolution (Far bigger than normal commission sizes)!

Alright her sheet is started! I think the model I used the last two will be how all go for the future. Initial cost will be low- and if enough is offered, a bonus image will be drawn to the specification of the adopter.

So I imagine starting bid will be $100-$120.

Adoptable 12 - Concept Image

Alright inbetween work I'm doing for a client, I am trying to get to the canvas for a sketch daily to keep productivity going. I'm thinking of doing a couple adoptables to sell in October before I go north and initially I had an idea but then a new one hit today and I HAD to draw it ASAP.

I'll be chewing on this design once work for my client is 100% complete (It'll be very soon! Excited for the final product!)

Goodness I gotta stop letting my mindset get ahead of me.

This was a challenge sketch. I finally stopped using a vector layer and forced myself to draw and erase as I did years before. I can't say it is a superior product but it does work, nonetheless!

I am doing my best to defeat a mindset I acknowledged last night. Something that has plagued me for years but finally realized and made manifest last night. It can explain some of my 'freezing' I do where I let days/weeks/months...

Sometimes I waffle on what causes the rust.

Is it because I DO focus on the same characters over and over?

Is it because I DON'T focus on the same and keep designing new ones?

Compared to that previous sketch, this one came together in no time.

Dinky gal sketch

Fire still low.

Part of it I can firmly blame on WoW.

TWW is *astoundingly fun* and I'm struggling to not play. I want to hop back in right now!

But I am now within two weeks of the first visit with my Father, and it'll be two weeks or less after that when the 3 months hit that I'll be up there. I gotta shake off my rust before that occurs so I can be in top form while mobile.

Big Boobie Elf 1

Okay the fire in me is low right now. I set out today to do simple sketches of 4 basic poses and it took me 2 hours to get this out and it's not where I wanted it to be. I got a strange dichotomy within me where the heart desires it but the mind is lacking.

I'll right this ship though, worry you not, as there's things I greatly desire to draw. The mind will have no choice but to catch up to the heart!

Okay a quick writeup here on what I mean by becoming a student of art.

I'm not fully satisfied with my art knowledge as of late. I've forged through the last 12 or so years by leeching off of whatever I observed over time but never spent much of it actually forcefully learning. I want to change that!

I may be returning to basics soon. Back to basic anatomy, perspective, painting, drawing, sketching, inking, and whatever I deem I want or need to learn more to help my art skills ...

The future!

Gonna be gone this next week from Monday to Friday! I think when I return I'm going to *try* to commit myself to becoming a student of art again. More info on that when I get home!

Nighborne Concept (WIP color)

Alright the canvas curse breaks more. I got some ideas thrown at me for a Nightborne and I flew at the canvas for the first time. An idea finally stoked the fire, and ideally it is now roaring once again! Ideas are flowing and I got things to doodle.
