Here's the final cut of our trailer for SAGE and Hubworld 2021!

As we get ready for SAGE 2021, we decided to redo our main menu, so we're in the middle of figuring out how we want to tackle that.
For starters, we're updating the main logo sequence that leads into the "Press Start" screen. We hope you like our draft render!

Just an update on the geometry of Shiver Swamp.
We're almost done with the main level geo, mainly the ground meshes and walls and such. The swamp portion is almost complete, besides a few BIG meshes that we don't know how to approach yet, and the caves is getting there, just have to do ground meshes. Hopefully it'll mostly be done by the end of the month!

Quick update, we will be posting our monthly content on Tuesday since tomorrow is Memorial day!
Started makin assets for the Waterworks part of Vistabell, which is the transition area between Vistabell (hub) and Shiver Swamp (first level).
Lots of pipes and scaffolding made, with some awesome texture work done by Paul (especially the layered metal plate material, it looks sooooo good!!)
Also updating lighting. There's a big hole in the ceiling that's letting in sunlight. Let us know what you think, cuz it looks nice and cozy, but it doesn't make much sense with the day-night...

Hey guys! Here's a BIG post about the recent bear character I've been workin on.
The poll we had to name him had a 3-way tie, so we're just gunna go with Scout Leader Leslie, named after my (Brandt's) favorite actor, Leslie Nielsen!
This post goes through the concept, sculpts, retopo, and texturing!
I'm gunna spend a little bit longer texturing this week, but then I'll move onto rigging and animating, and he should be in the game by next month's build!

Some work on the Challenge Level UI, which is pretty much two overlapping progress bars. One will show the progress of the robot through the stage, and the other is Rad's progress.

Here is a rip of a new enemy called "Chaser"!
You can find Chasers inside Challenge Levels, where they'll race you through the obstacle course for the McGuffinite. If the Chaser reaches the McGuffinite before you, you have to restart the Challenge Level and try again.

Here's a BIG post for you guys on the status of the new Challenge Levels!
We're still working on the main "gimmick" of the challenge levels, but for now they're straight runways. We're thinking a mix of the Sonic Heroes Special Stages and the Mario Sunshine Floodless Levels.
This one will be available to play in next month's build. The entrance is hidden in Shiver Swamp.

Some big changes are coming to Shiver Swamp in next month's build.
The tree section is being changed to taking place at the base of the tree and under it instead of up around the trunk. This is to help open up the level a little more and help stop sequence breaking.
With this change, campers have been dispersed throughout the swamp and they must be found before entering the caves section (this will later be replaced with an NPC blocking your path).

I thought it was about time to start workin on a redesign of Iris. Still workin on getting the shapes right, but I'm liking the more simple direction and better color contrast. This version of Iris won't be finished for a loooooooooong time, not until after our vertical slice, but this is the direction I want to take her.
