Alright, the Darkness-spammers are here to party; Devils have a huge natural advantage in darkness, so it just makes sense to keep some squidlocks around to ink the place up. More even than that, though, these warlocks are built around looking and feeling powerful, around making sure that when they take an action, something of consequence happens. Can't be making the boss look bad, after all.
Their level 3 feature does make Darkness a viable spell up through higher levels, but they stil...

Experimental Blood-fueled Hellfire Pyromancies are the name of the game with these cults and subclass; they've got the power and flexibility to go a whole cultin' career without ever casting a non-fire spell, though said career is likely to end with them consumed by their own magical recklessness.
The great plague is perfected, let the age of cleansing begin! Unless you're still working through stuff, in which case.... uh, don't do that! These Baalzeboys play a bit oddly; they want a lot of wounded and afflicted enemies around them so they're incentivized to spread their damage around, dropping slow-damaging curses and diseases on everyone around (even allies, potentially) and harvesting the icky effluvia as an offering to big homie Slug Duke.
Old Baalz, for his part, is a fairly...

Glasya is one of the most enthusiastic collaborators in the hells, and her cults reflect that trait, often found in tense alliances with cults devoted to other entities. This warlock and cultist set are centered around getting someone else to do their fighting for them, stacking powerful buffs to turn their chosen champion into a combat monster.
Blessed be, I have not perished under July's heat. This year's renfaire was 30 degrees cooler than last's, which is good because I was fighting in armor and literally would have died. Now only August's furor remains to be faced; my hopes of surviving the season remain high. Warg Riders will be pleased to find that the Early Access doc now finally contains all the player content rolled together in one place.

Got a proper Strahd for you at long last, based very directly on the work of Dragnacarta; I figure no sense in reinventing the wheel when he'd made something excellent already, and I really had to stretch to make something I like better than it.
if you're running Curse of Strahd and not using his CoS: Reloaded rewrite, you're really doing yourself a disservice. It makes the whole adventure so much cleaner and m...

I've got some exceedingly cool monsters from DM Tuz here today, an old friend who you may know from his work adapting Darkest Dungeon to 5e; here you'll find a spread of catlike fairies called Feylines, and a bunch of offbeat golems made from things like glass, tar, tumors, funerary urns, and even a full house.
Tuz is good people, check out his Patreo...

Levistus is quietly the angriest person in the hells, forced to manage his layer through just yelling real loud from his frozen tomb, ever since Asmodeus cut his power budget to beef up Glasya's after ruining his reputation.
His subclass is more of a bottom-up design than some of the others I've done, revolving mechanically around the ability to just be the best at being an Armor of Agathys tank, with some fun ways to lightly betray your party sprinkled on top.
Look, you just can't have 45 devil-cultist stat blocks without some of them being themed around torment; what distinguishes these guys from the whip-and-chain crowd on the demonic side of the aisle is they're not particularly into it; suffering is all about dour self-improvement and grindset for these folks.
On the subclass side of things, warlocks of Belial/Fierna get to make any spell damage nonlethal and are just generally really good at bullying a single enemy; so long as they're de...

Got a two-for-one deal on archdevils today; I didn't forget about everyone's least favorite archdevils (okay maybe a little), they just needed time to cook! These a little stripped back in their power and complexity budgets, but that's because it's meant to be reasonable to run them as a duo, both in terms of challenge to the PCs and to the DM.
Also got some Despair-Cult Oni here from Cobramode, which are reasonably on-theme and that's all the excuse I need to jam 'em in.
Who's tried out Daggerheart? It's got some interesting looking mechanics and presentation that I definitely intend to steal, but I'm curious how they feel at the table.

I'm sick of fighting poor people in D&D, normalize rich bandits! Today for your viewing and playing pleasure I have a slate of Mammon cultists, perfect for complementing that Usurer's Guild from a bit ago, and a subclass that lets you buy extra spell slots from your patron (it's less unbalanced than it sounds, I promise).
Jeremy Bentham is one of my favorite philosophers, but he really screwed us over laying the groundwork for the modern prison-industrial complex, so bit of an L there.
In D&D, though, oppressive security and a surveillance state can be fun! Here's the cults of Dispater, good for prison wardens and spymasters. I've also got him as a warlock patron, for an ultracautious playstyle where no one is ever allowed to get near you.
You know, demons got five warlock subclasses in my demon book, I think it's only fair to do nine more for devils, with cults for each of them.
After all, how the hell are you supposed to integrate a devilish big bad into your setting without a robust cult architecture to hang them off of? These devils are Distinct Characters with Big Vibes and their worshippers should reflect that!
So, starting us off, here's a Zariel warlock subclass, five Zariel-worshipping cultists with some s...

More updates to some basics; the myconids were maybe my worst stat blocks to have survived this long, so it feels good to get them cleaned up properly, and it was a fun challenge trying to make the merrow feel distinct from the twenty other sorts of merman I've got already.

Got a beefier elder brain variant here for those who want more of a solo fight from it, and and an update to carrion crawlers that tries to address some of my pain points with them; as scary as 1 minute of inescapable paralysis might be, being locked out of a full fight like that is kind of lame.
June heat is oppressive out here (especially if you're in armor), but Free RPG Day nears; don't forget to light a candle for Martin of Tours, patron saint of not paying for things.

Watch your fingers, there's a lot of edge here; today we're rolling blocks based on the Blood Hunter by Matt Mercer and the Atavist by SwordMeow.

You can never have enough ratcatchers on hand; they do tend to expire on you just when you need them. Here's a slate of adventurer blocks based on some of the cleanest 3rd party class designs out there; the Warlord by KibblesTasty and the Gunslinger by Heavyarms.
