Here's an old sketch of Jenny with realism, proper anatomy and gravity in mind. I think she looks regal and mature in comparison the the pic from yesterday. I still love the cartoon look for the subject matter she's involved in. Everyone has their own preference so I'm interested to see what people think about this style.

I'm clamoring to get some work done for you guys, juggling old sketches and working to complete the Ivy comic page before the end of the month. I hate doing it this way almost as much as I hate paying a stupid amount in taxes, but I have to pay the tax man and I'm still looking at ridiculous medical bills too.

Hello, friendos. I'm all done with my chemo treatments! I'm going to take a couple more days to get some energy back, visit some family, and clear my head before finishing up some work. I've been doing some sketches to warm up and get my juju back. I'll be doing a few paid posts next week so keep a look out for those.

Yes, I am still alive and I can't wait for this chemo to be over. Turns out chemo-therapy sucks like every one said it would. I've still got 4 more weeks to go before it's officially over. One more round... One more.

Here's the last panel filled in. I might color the rest minus the animated panel and charger for it when I can find the time.
The surgery went well, no complications. The power port is in my chest and I'm ready for the first day of chemo on Monday. I'm in surprisingly good spirits. That might be the oxycodone talking. :P
I'll try and stick to the Wednesday Update schedule. Hopefully the chemo won't drain me of all my energy and I'll be able to get some hours in next week.

I think we could all see where that was headed from the first panel. The last panel won't be the end of this little Damballah adventure. If you all don't mind I'd like the entire Damballah Island series to be eternal, meaning there will be no ending. It'll simply be updated sporadically and with no attention to story. No new art today. Tomorrow I'll try and get something up. Friday I'm having surgery to install a port in my chest for my chemo treatments. I'll probably not be in working order before my first chemo treatment next Monday. That whole week will be spent in a hospital basically until Friday. I'll try and get some work in depending on how I feel. Chances are I'll be so tired of sitting in a hospital all day everyday for a week that working will feel like a chance to relax.

Sorry for the long wait. Wednesday was spent at a Reproductive Clinic banking sperm because chemo is going to ruin my swimmers and at my credit union because that shit is expensive and my credit card wasn't activated (I never use it). The 13th as I think I've mentioned will be the start of my chemo. I still need to have appointments made for my surgery to have a port installed into my chest. Good times. Kevin Taylor is one of my biggest influences and his work compelled me to start drawing erotic art. I eventually made it my career (although I'm not even close to his prolific output). Life has a way of piling on shit when you're down and trying to get back up. I found out an old friend committed suicide yesterday. He was only 36 and was suffering from chronic athritis and apparently no insurance company would help pay for pain medication. He was a smart and sensitive person. It hurts to think I'll never have a new converstation with him.

I went back and changed the first panel and filled in the rest. I think I'm only going to charge for these animations when they're completed and colored. They're long term projects. Enjoy.
Side note: Next year I'm thinking of revising the different tiers to simplify them. As it stands now I've been bad about involving the higher tier patrons with voting so that will be removed and the highest tier will drop a dollar. Damnit, it's almost done. I've got maybe a few more hours to put into this and it'll be done. A couple more layers of shading and then a couple of layers of highlights and it'll be perfect. Got a late start today. Here's my stopping point for the night. I'll work on the coloring tomorrow morning.
