Recycling

With the new year beginning, I wanted to revist a few models from the past and make a few upgrades/conversions: 

- Standard bearer - this is an updated, refreshed version of a model I made over 3 years ago, with slightly changed pose and changes to things that annoyed me. Included a version without the flag (only the pole). 

- goblin - a refreshed version of _goblin_swing_helmet with details changed

- Space Dwarf with minigun - a dwarf I made over 2 years ago joine...

Return of Milk-7

In an unprecedented turn of events, the Qaqlooie from the Hwawla system agreed to give a helping tentacle to the Resistance. With the assistance of Space Dwarfs and essential intelligence provided by the Robotians (who use Milk-7 in their hydraulics), the supply of the essential drink was restored. Corporatimpex strikes back

It is an even darker time for the people of the Resistance. A New Dope

It is a dark time for the people of the Galactic Union. Corporatimpex, the pan-galactic monopolist, with blackmail, violence and bribes has secured exclusive rights to produce and sell Milk-7 in all the known systems.
The prices jumped a few thousand percent. 

Having scouted a few dozens of planets, Hank Solefoot and his noble mentor, Electric Wizard Rad-a-Cast 3000 have finally found one of the hidden Corporatimpex storage facilities.

Pond memories

All eyes at the inn were fixed on the two strangers.

Better late than later

The last week of October has been a bumpy ride for me (a few days in hospital with my daughter, it's ok now), but finally here's the last part of the spooky month minis, multipart and modular. Because I'm late with my own planned schedule, I'm extending the availability of undead modulars until the end of November.

Smashing pumpkins

Josif the grave digger has been serving his community for a long time now and he knew that his customers might have some unsettled matters left behind, so it didn't bother him much when sometimes one of them dug back out and disturbed the village folk. Only after they started coming back from the abandoned field with their heads replaced, Josif started to worry.

The Repository

It seems that right now Patreon is having an issue displaying text in posts with restricted access. They work fine in the mobile app, but don't display in a web browser. So the Repository post is not displaying in a browser.

Harry the maggot was quite suprised, when the meal at his favourite dining place suddenly moved, got up and left.

The inner circle

Gunthar wasn't excited about his assignment to escort the tiefling sorceress back to the Guild. He didn't believe that there was a band of lunatics hunting for the "she-devil".

Fly trap

When the village men did not return from their quest to drain the swamp, the women knew they had to prepare for their last stand.

Mass production

Looking for the cause of the recent disappearings, the town watch and local militia have stumbled upon a significant clue in a back alley.

Summer is gone, gloom is coming. Here's something new for a change - FDM-friendly modular supportless models.

Critters

Here's a fistful of critters, to annoy the hell out of heroes. 

In addition, a photogrammetrized statue of a lion that I stumbled upon on my recent bike ride to a palace nearby. So technically it is not my sculpt except for a couple of touch-ups where the photogrammetry software failed.

Leisurely

My time off is coming to an end, I enjoyed some nice weather (some inspiring sightseeing photos attached) and on the rainy days I stole my kids' crayons and tried to visualise creatures from your stories under the last post (with one exception ceded to the AI - I really liked the result).
I think I'm going to convert them all to three dimensions early August. You can still add your stories until Sunday!

War. War never changes.

Humanity in its bottomless stupidity keeps inventing new ways to kill itself. 

I've been getting more and more requests for minis from different eras, so here's a shot at a Napoleonic and a WW2 mini. While it's not a problem to create medieval-ish/fantasy characters, dealing with historical stuff is a different story. A mere reckless addition of epaulettes or replacing pompom with a plume can bring anger from military enthusiasts. Uniforms from 1807-12 are different than 1812-1...

There are 2 types of the bases for the flying stirges, one is a single piece (probably better for resin) and the other prints...

Of the two certainities in life mentioned by Benjamin Franklin, taxes are the more acceptable. The idea of members of a community chipping in to build infrastructure and fund services available for all is great in principle. Of course, all great ideas can be twisted, abused and complicated beyond reason.

In memoriam

Ever sInce I can remember, my father always inspired me to learn about new things from around the world. He loved maps and languages, and tried to combine these interests by  travelling and working as an interpreter. I grew up next to a huge cabinet of atlases and dictionaries. After I finally convinced him to start using a computer, he was the only person I've ever known to try to download the whole Internet to the hard drive.
