The first episode of 2023. When is the proper time to remove decorations? Apparently Spike thinks it's right away! His household, though maybe more along the lines of lazy, feels it shouldn't be right away. After a season of family, Spike's left all alone here.

We sort of neglected showing Starlight and Gray over 2022 because it didn't seem like people cared a whole lot. We built up a story line with many possible outcomes and weaving ties, but then sort of laid back on it. But our goal is to make it a bit more prominent in 2023. We had a lot of fun with this episode as we continued the tales of the Wonderbolts and their shenanigans. It's fun to include lots of characters and flesh out others a bit. Some fun details here are of course the Wonderbolts poster and the silly expressions from Spitfire!

Late night post! We got a ton of stuff that YOU have been asking for in the coming months! We've been on a tear just making tons and tons of content! We've never been this far ahead, and the ideas are flowing like milk and honey! This is totally a random question, but what is something that makes you unhappy? It can be major or small.

Being someone who can unite others is a good thing and it's one of Twilight's skills. I don't think we show that enough. Sometimes some simple concessions and meeting in the middle solves everything.

Anyone in a relationship (especially the stallions) will get this joke. No matter what you pick, you're always going to be wrong. The other will be chosen. I think we need to see more of this. MOAR! Lol! Seeing Lawrence and Twilight become more comfortable with each other is a good thing. It's a slow burn with Twilight as we saw with her and Greg and now Lawrence. It takes her time to build up the trust to loosen those socks, let her hair down, and be more . . . uh . . . loose? People can feel blue around the holidays, but there is usually a way to fix that. In Twilight's case, she has a good group of friend's who understand her needs. Also would love to point out some character development in terms of Starlight's cooking! She is cooking their big holiday feast! Good for her!

I would say this is one of my top ten favorite episodes of the year. It's rather absurdist but at the same time, completely believable. I never want to "Homer Simpson" or "Flanderize" our characters, and this one had me worry that we were pushing Rainbow Dash too far into the 'stupid' category. After some tweaking of the text and reviewing Dash's character, this isn't too far fetched. I could totally see this happening. It's a rather simplistic joke aiming for the low end of humor . . . quite literally. ;-) We've actually done a joke similar to this many years back.

Everyone deserves a win sometimes, and after the recent events of Zephyr finding out how the "Employee of the Month" award is somewhat meaningless, it's a wonder he has any drive to do anything.

The Apple's are fairly new at growing pumpkins, and the results show. Twilight of course tries to be nice about it. Applejack though on the other hoof has some strong feelings to tell her youngest sister.
