A title

Im still deep in thoughts about my further approach to developing H games, so im putting that aside at least until Im done with this month build for Gauntlet.

One thing I can say for sure -  I will do more random art, since focusing on single thing for a long time will stagnate my skills significantly.

I am free

Earlier today I finished all that had to be finished :) Very tired, but happy and relieved 

After such a long break from development Im feeling super motivated to continue

Today im staying up to fix my sleeping schedule, and tomorrow I will do absolutely nothing :)

And at Friday I'll start figuring out what's happening, where Im at and what have to be done. Then I will be able to infor you about what to expect, and how Im planning to do things moving forward.

Happy new year!

Can't believe a month have passed since last post , feels like a few days :o

Fortunately there was no complications, and I'll wrap my work somewhere arount first week of January, and then I can come back to developement, so expect proper update in Jan, and maybe some other good news :)

End of the year crunch

Here comes new version! 

Was on a decent pace this month, no burnouts or unexpected stuff :^)

I am proud to announce, that week afret last update I didn't do anything :^) (at least game related). But I got my new PC, so Im fast af now. Also catched a cold (unlucky). 

 Then I got a (almost) full animation ready in less than a week, that's pretty impressive for me :^), I hope I will have time to add more variance to it this month.

Quick note - From now on, I am gonna aim for one update per month (even if it's super small) for some consistency.
I'll try to focus on one task at the time, so I can release whatever is ready to the end of the month!

Finishing touches, part two :p

Hey!

As I overestimated myself yet again, update Is still not there..

I've been feeling lack of energy lately, so I'm taking rest sometimes, to avoid burnout. So biggest reason of the delays is me not putting enough hours tbh (as well as being bad at estimating :))

I am currently trying to cultivate some ethics to be able to put hours to the development more consistently (with varied success), so I can provide at least one update per month.

Finishing touches

Hey!

Wanted to make quick update, since last one was quite long ago. 

I was doing some action animations, then failed to do them, and switched to some other action animations :^) 

There will be new pose, with transitions/idle animation, and one action for it with some variance. I also have head rotations ready, but idk if I will implement them now.  

Base versions are basically done, need some polish and clothes variations

Back to development

Power Shortages :O

Technical stuff and some basic testing was done, there is scaling problem to fix, other than that all good.

There is problem with sound, as I have a conflict with composer, so probably no BGM for this demo. But i will try to add most of sfx, (some are temporary thou)

Started this week with good old food poisoning :)

Took advice and chilled a biе, took couple days off, played some games (including H games) Can recommend Secret care cafe, if you ok with netorase(and a bit of grind), it have very nice dev :^)

Other than that, I kinda finished intro dialogue, made more facial expressions. There is a lot of improvements to be made, but I leave most of them fore later.

Stuck at dialogs :^)

So, I'm still at it. After a week I'm still not satisfied with quality i have, so I have to improve it some more

I was expanding range of facial expressions, altering sound effect pitch and speed for different intonations, experimenting with stuff etc. 

Didn't expected it to take that long, wish I have more free time :')

I underestimated how long it will take to Intro + dialogues (with proper response from heroine and stuff) so I'm still working on it  

I experimented with one scene for whole day, only to scrap It in the end D: (I am also overcomplicating placeholders :( )

Deadline  served it's purpose to speed me up, but I have to move it, or make broken  release :^)

I'm planning to finish big things by the end of next week, and left with a week for polishing and testing.
I just can't stop adding stuff, so I really need a deadline for myself :P

Development progress 05/28/23

I had to help my parents in my spare time this week, so this one gonna be short D:

Due to the limited time i had, i was just focusing on small bugs and cleanups i had notes on, like cleaning spritesheets from obsolete sprites, smoothing some rough animations.

I also was in the mood of improving dialogue (any text rendering really) systems, hopefully there will be no random softlocks like it were in Hima.

Development progress 05/14/23

Had a tough week (couple days) but after hardship I get wave of motivation ( ˙▿˙ )

Gameplay systems are mostly finished at this point, aside from some cosmetic problems.  Had to learn a lot about shaders in a process,  it sure takes a lot of time :D

Did plenty of UX stuff, so things look intuitive and nice to interact with. I would like to avoid big tutorial sheets, so different elements should be at least a little bit self explanatory :)
