Bambi stickers (time lapse)

Time lapse recording of the stickers I did for the step-by-step tutorial thing! As I mentioned in it, I ended up remaking the sketch - at the line art stage as seen here.

It's always a but tricky when it comes to deciding if I should continue with what I have or redo it, but from my experience a good sketch is better than extra time used for rendering if I aim for the best outcome. Of course it depends on the whole size of the project as it's usually not worth the exhaustion to go back ...

Adding visual interest to stickers

At long last, here's a mini tutorial...ish kind of essay of my design process of drawing Telegram stickers! At first it was supposed to be just a short text post, but I got carried away with all my notes. Pokefusion doodles

Okay, one more post before the bigger one I've been working on! Some fun Pokefusion doodles/designs I did a while ago based on prompts my friends came up with. This is a subject I seem to revisit every few years and every time I get so hooked so this might not be the last time you see something like this from me! :D

Something small before a longer video again! :) I wanted to practice pixel art on a smaller canvas so I made these quick icons for me and my partner.

Icon time lapse 🐦

Despite the cold spell that currently has Finland in its grip, we saw a lot of people bird watching the other day when walking the dogs which actually gave me the inspiration for this icon! 😊 Working on this made spring feel a little bit closer even in the middle of the piles of snow we currently have everywhere - I really can't wait everything outside to look more like in this icon commission...

Gift art for Tikrekins of her character Ku! A shorter video before some bigger updates featuring the current commission batch. ^^ Had fun drawing an experimental piece like this, allowed myself to go all crazy with the shapes and colors.

Reference sheet and icon WIPs

Monochrome portrait sketch time lapse

I took a bit more artistic liberties with this one in order to achieve the menacing perspective I was going for - I just could not let go of the idea once it entered my mind and I had to try it out! 😂 As a fan of cropped compositions I'm not complaining about the turn it took even though it's a bit different from the usual style. 👀 It was a result of trial and error and I wanted to share the whole recording of that separately!

First half of March stickers! Bratblush sticker set time lapse (part 2)

This was originally meant to be posted in 2 parts but hey, why not! Old OC speedpaint + mini step-by-step

This year I'm trying to remind myself of the things that inspired me to start drawing as much as I can. One of those things was Ginga Nagareboshi Gin anime that I watched religiously as a child and made tons of fan characters (that all had very tragic backstories, of course). STEP-BY-STEP: Connecting icons

It took me a while to collect these, this process had a lot more steps to show than I had thought! TIME LAPSE: Secret Valentine art trade

In Finland, Valentine's Day is called Ystävänpäivä which translates to Friend's Day - so we hosted a Secret Valentine mass art trade between some of our lovely friends! 🥰 This was my part (the character belongs to Zietro), and boy did I love drawing Zie! Although primate anatomy is a bit intimidating to me, I was also excited to get to work with a character that I could pose in such a fun way. Here's a closer look at the end result!
