Random Stuff!

Lars and I always collaborate on the bodypaint idea. I wanted to be Spider-Man. Not Spider-Girl or Spider-Woman… they have a different character story and I wanted to relate to a Superhero.

Oregon Trip

Opposites Attract

Had a wonderful time shooting with a big group of models today. We had a big house,  and lots of sets to work with. I mainly like to shoot outside, so I worked with the reflection of the window as a background and stayed in the shadowy areas to avoid sun spots. That's a big deal! Sunspots and harsh shadows can ruin poses.

Shadow Stripes

Every day I am looking to create with my body and study the light, trying to memorize poses. River Originals

It's difficult to find private spots like I used to, but I still managed to shoot even though there were people around. It doesn't feel the same when people are there, but I still do it anyways. I'm honestly not too impressed with the shots. 😅 But we'll see what I can salvage with editing.

Before & After

Recently I've been pushing myself to shoot even if I have no ideas in the moment. I shot these at my house, before the sun took over the whole deck. The shady area with the wall was perfect for lighting and I wanted to work with something small. 

The Reels on Instagram are starting to get more people in and I hope my Patreon will too! 

Mountains

Views of the mountains are always breathtaking...trying to pose in front of them on the park-side while people drive by is not the feel it gives off 😅  

In a lot of my pictures I am actually enjoying the scene, but this one was quickly posed... I was hurrying while people were creepily stopping and watching.

River Mermaid

These are my favorite moments, naked in nature. Laying on a rock in the middle of the river, listening to the sound of flowing water... I just wish I could hold on to these moments a little longer!

Mt. Rainier has lots of beautiful waterfalls and rivers to explore. 

My boyfriend was sweet enough to take these pictures for me with my camera. I can't wait to go back 🤗

My Happy Place

Yesterday I went to see my friend @Nisja.91 at our favorite beach in Kingston. There's never anyone there when we go and I always take beautiful pictures. 

I especially like the first one because it shows my full face and I'm covered. It's a picture I know my grandma will like. (It's also not edited.)

Some reminded me of a Pirates of the Caribbean.

Studio Fun

Marcus and I went to this studio on his birthday. I just wanted to surprise him with something unexpected and went with the flow. I was honestly a little nervous because he is a great photographer and I didn't want to mess up 😂

He never judges me, though! I was definitely over-thinking for no reason. I think we can all over-think ourselves sometimes and then wonder later why we acted so weird. 

I still love the memories and all the weirdness! ☺️

No Memory

This was the first day we went to the waterfall to test out my new Mavic 2 Pro, but I had forgotten to insert my memory card 🥴 

When I got home I realized these were all just tiny sample pictures! I wen't back the next day to re-do the pictures. You can see a couple of the new ones on my Instagram and previous post on here. 

I kept these for future pose ideas.

Jedi Deity

This is the Jedi character I created who originally is one person, known as Navi, but the force divides her into two people - Zerena and Vii. Zerena is the Sith Empress I posted before, wearing the same dress but red. Vii is the Jedi Deity in blue who tries to convince Zerena to join forces again. At Edmonds Beach, I discovered a rock wall to pose with. It's usually busy there, but I walked further to the right past the dog park, around the corner and there is usually no one. I was actually surprised that I had this area to myself.

This was the second time Marcus and I went to the waterfall, so I could get all the shots I didn't get on the first day. I need to get that closure - I had all these ideas and I couldn't just let them go and move on... it was worth going back! Did I mention it was 42 degrees? 😂

Chasing Waterfalls

This was the 1st day at the waterfall; we drove about 2 hours to get to there. I had forgotten my battery for my camera and focused only on shooting with my drone.... but I had also forgotten to install my SD card into my drone! It was just not my day.  All the pictures I took with my drone were only 1.3MB and no way could I use them or convert them. The only option was to go back and do it again.

I had this idea to create my own Star Wars character and make a Reel for Instagram that's about my evil side fighting the good. I have this red dress also in blue.

Last night around 7pm Marcus and I were doing some practice shots at Edmonds Beach for the video. At the end of the video there will be a sweet picture to show the villain in red and the goodie in blue (which are both me.)

Creepy Tree

Today at Ballinger Park I went bird watching and saw this awesome tree. There were lots of loud crows too. It set the mood to do something kinda mysterious. 

This is the shot I edited because I like how I mimic the tree. The fingers look creepy like the tree branches. 

Good Times

These are some of the gorgeous pictures @mynameismarcusklotz took of me in Hawaii. There is a cool fail one in there too! 

 I rented us a car and he was nice enough to chauffeur us all around. (I don't usually post pictures of my kids on here.)

Kapi'olani Park

Fun self-portraits I took at Kapi'olani Park. It was a big park where my kids could run and play. I was in love with the Koa trees and Palm trees here. The flowers and birds were also amazing! 

Chill Spot

This was always the chillest spot, hardly any people, even on a Saturday. Hunakai Beach was one of my favorites for that reason because I really had no clue that Honolulu would be so busy. 😂

Can you spot the couple fails? I threw them in because they show that it's not always graceful taking my own pictures! The minute I got to Makua Beach on the Island of Oahu, I was here, there and everywhere trying to soak in all the best shots. I get so excited because I see every image in my head before I take it.
It was a wonderful vacation with my family. While my kids play, I do this. They are also little yogis that do headstands. 😊

Pink Dream

The other day I had to pick something up and this beautiful scene was there when I arrived...but I left my camera at home.

When I took off, I couldn't stop thinking about the shot I would have captured. Good thing I went back 2 days later, on a day when the timing and lighting was right.

Sun is Shining

Would you believe that this is my backyard? I love that I've captured so many great pictures of spring trees this year.

Snoqualmie

Went and explored the Snoqualmie river and took these simple self-portraits. Kind of reminds me of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers."

 I'm sitting on so many edits I haven't shared on Instagram yet... I'm thinking I might just cram them all in to a Reel and show my before and afters.

Public Park Poses

A perfect sunny day to do some poses with giant wings.  I had just bought the outfit near by at a sexy shop.

This is a public park too and people were watching! I don't mind, though haha
