Recently got commissioned to draw a certain Reimu Hakurei, from the Touhou Project series (which I am only familiar with through fetish doujin spoofs). The commissioner wanted her to be conscripted into the League of Legs, featured in this previous illustration. Yellow in the LoL's colours, the red-and-white in Reimu's original colours.

Sometimes, some ideas just hit you right between the eyes.
And this time around it was a caption by OES (One-eyed Stranger) on Tumblr (sorry I cannot link at the moment, but seems like I blocked Tumblr off my network for a while) that just had such aesthetic energy that it made me want to draw something based off of it. Yet again, I find my inspiration in Sutiblr's photography. But then it became a mash-up of some reference photos I've had lying around. Both practice and substance.
You can see the original sketch in black lines, then the more structured image in red. I then cleaned up the lines and added some shadow guides.
If I am clinical about my process, I have to say my energetic sketches tend to have something... more to them. More real, less fuzzy... But that's me being self reflecti...

Recent commission by someone going by the name Slade. They did ask me to draw the outfit based on one of LurkerGG's designs, which, while enjoyable, I don't know if I am entirely happy with the idea. Maybe if I truly loved the design?
