All roughed in!   Now the question is, should I stream the inking & coloring tonight?  I'm sure there'll be nothing else to watch tonight.  Certainly nothing important!  :P

November updatage

This month should be interesting, because I've given myself a deadline - have everything cleared off my plate by the end of the month, so that next month I can focus on a 3-page Christmas comic!  Here's what my current to-do list looks like -

Sticking to the script

Filler time!   I'm feeling worn out lately...  I don't know if it's because of how exhausting September was, or if it's because of my giving up caffeine a week ago.  Either way, the other day I had to look at my script journal to remind myself that I have gotten quite a bit of work done this month, even if it doesn't seem like it.  It's just that coding isn't the sexiest kind of work...

Now that a comic page and some more Maya scripting are out of the way, it's time I started planning out some of the this month's suggestions!

For the succubus idea, I can't not have Daisy struggling to keep her girls contained...  just need to find the right pose.  Monique could offer her her secret weapon - tape - while Rose stands between them, feeling just a tad inadequate.  Of course then I couldn't help but scribble Monique offering Rose some reassurance.   Still ...

It's been a week, and here's how the vote turned out -

This has hardly been my best month, to put it lightly. Septembers are always rough for me, thanks to seasonal depression. From one day to the next I'm either lethargic and unmotivated, or my thoughts are going in so many directions all at once that it feels like my brain is boiling. Either way, ideas are in short supply. GOOD ideas, at least... I'm pretty sure if I looked back over the yea...

I hereby nominate September as "Butt Month",  if only because for me Septembers always suck ass.  The good news is it feels like my month-long funk is almost cleared, but we'll have to wait and see how my animation goes this week...

One-man show

I'm just about done with these filler comics.  So far I've been laying out my long-term animation plans, but this time my more immediate plans are on the board.

So far this has been a rough month, to put it lightly.  My animation assignment arrived three weeks late, in the middle of what was supposed to be my vacation.  And on top of diving right in, I was expected to do so as if I've haven't not been animating for the better part of the past year.  Plus my brother's place ...

Challenges

Side note - I'm still trying to decide if I should set up a separate campaign for animation, or relaunch my current one at some point.  Either way has its pros & cons.

I'm pretty sure Mo knows what 'futanari' means, but was more interested in why Bev wrote it on the board.  That and the "gherkin jerkin" bit popped into my head yesterday , and I couldn't resist writing the rest around it.  :P

Seeing as the next Dark Corner page is going to be late, how's about I get started on these "pitch" comics?  Bev's design and color scheme may not be final, but that too could be the subject of one of these!

Velma

I'm in a sort of holding pattern at the moment - the character I'm supposed to animate isn't ready for me yet, but the Frankenmuth Auto Fest starts tomorrow, so even if the model is ready today I probably won't start animating until Monday.

In the meantime, one more thing for me to attempt to draw this weekend will be a Charlie's Angels-like pic of Velma Dinkley, Overwatch's Mei, and Pokemon's Wicke.  What shall I call them, though?  Tumblr's Angels?  Waifu Squad?  Fanboy F...

The Whiteboard

I just realized something over the long weekend - my next scheduled comic day (next Wednesday), I'll be up north, and won't have my Cintiq.  Getting the page done early won't be an option - I leave tomorrow morning - so it'll be a week late.  To make up for that, I'll have to see if I can't also get the next page or two drawn while I'm at it.

Wake me up when September ends

Man, August ended up being pretty stressful, and September might be as well, if I let it. I'm exhausted, so once the image pack is ready I'll be taking a couple of days off to relax, and to prepare for this animation job.

Between the animation and my trip to Michigan in a few days, I think I'll be focusing primarily on the comic this month (only 3 pages left!). If I draw any pinups, I'll have to remind myself to limit them to sketches, or color them later.  At the same time, I wan...
