So instead of two small panels I spent the last few days retooling the next few strips to be these stand alone, more stand-alone panels like I'm seeing webtoons. I kinda think these are the way I'm gonna go from now on cause most people read strips on their phones now and frankly, it lends itself better to my style of picture-making. What are y'alls thoughts on this format?

Story Concepts, Guilt and Excuses

I'm a creative deadzone y'all. Have been for months, despite my best efforts. There's a big part of me that feels like I should be focusing on C6 regardless of whatever mixed feelings I'm having about it. I owe y'all a conclusion to this arc at the very least. C6 Resuming Hiatus.

This strip isn't working for me. Or what remains of it. I melted down pretty bad and trashed two of the panels while trying to do corrections. The two that are still here at my desk look like shit and will likely join the others in the trash where they belong.

OG C6 is not something I can handle creating right now and will go back on hiatus. I won't leave the story unfinished, but it's not something I can handle making presently.

I think for now I'm just goin...

Having another rough time getting the pencils to look presentable with this one. Should have them up late tonight or early tomorrow. Meantime, I'd like to hear what y'all want me to draw next after this C6 update. Honestly not sure if y'all prefer original C6 at this point or one of the other strips. Being honest, my pursuit of continuing C6 seems to be costing me readers and I'm wondering if I made the right choice by choosing to continue it. Look forward to hearing from y'all.

For anyone wondering about how my endoscopy/colonoscopy went Friday, I'm happy to say that it turned out to be two large hemorrhoids, which kinda sucks, but otherwise I'm lookin' good down there~ Well, health-wise at least!

C6 #1251 - Inks

Before anyone says it, yeah, Evita is missing the right side of her hair in panel 1. I was in a rush to get this up before medical stuff tomorrow and missed it. Rest assured, when the finished strip lands this weekend her hair will be fully intact~

And uh, yeah, I'm back! Not sure about sticking with the schedule I announced last week as it sometimes interferes with the creative process. Also my schedule gets changed around a lot due to therapists, doctors and my own poor mental health...

C6 #1251 - Pencils

Alright, I have to admit, I'm cheating with this one since I already posted it a few weeks back but this is the strip I'm releasing this week. I'm already well into the inks so I can schedule them for a release Thursday with the finished strip landing on Saturday.

Alright, well it took longer than I thought, but to be fair, shit kept happening irl and this was a more difficult project than anticipated. I'm gonna start on another strip after resting tonight, but I'm not gonna assign a release date to avoid another situation like this. Not sure what strip I'm going do just yet. I have to admit, I'm feeling really guilty about just dropping C6 after so many years and considering resuming it, mental health be damned.

Collar d6 & the CollarV universe

I'm currently working on some stuff that I plan to have up Sun/Mon-ish that continues the Collar d6 (the tabletop game one) storyline, and I'm considering taking the CollarV universe (where Michelle has purple hair and Trina is a gyaru gal) and having it be one of the games they play. One in which they're all vampires, succubi and other assorted urban fantasy cliches.

#1251 - Pencils - Announcement

Well, this was supposed to be the finished, full strip, but since I wound up involuntarily locked in the psyche ward of my local hospital again and promptly came home sick as fuck, that didn't happen, but at least I got the goddamn pencils done.

Resuming Monday, Feb 3rd

C6 resumes Monday February 3rd and will see weekly, 4-6 panel updates. I will run polls to determine what comic y'all want to see week to week. Monday will be C6 and we'll go from there.

Frustration

While I've spent the last few days trying to produce the next handful of strips, my brain has other ideas and won't cooperate. I'm stuck and frustrated at being stuck 'cause frankly, I can't afford to not be creating things. And I'm trying. Just that it looks like ass and winds up in the trash beside my desk. Or eaten in frustration. I'll keep at it until I have something to post, just know I'm trying and not fucking around over here.

Yeesh, this one was more difficult than I expected a bunch of talking heads to be! Sorry for the late-day delivery, but at least I made the deadline (though not by much).

Next update should be Wednesday. I may wind up having to pair Wednesday and Friday's release into one since I have doctor and therapy appointments for the next three bloody days (which I did not realize until this weekend). I'll keep y'all updated on what to expect!

Hiatus.

Without going into too much detail, my life is falling apart and I'm unable to sit and work on anything. This post is the fruits of a week of trying around my failing home life. I'll resume work when I can. Love y'all.

Not that I'm a great artist in the first place, but I'm just not happy with how this one is coming together and I'd rather extend my deadline than turn in something that feels this phoned in. Sorry for the delay. I decided at the last minute that this strip needed those last two panels to provide a direct pay-off without having to wait a week between updates. Still not lookin' great but I'm giving it all I've got. Not sure about the hand drawn word bubbles either. Mentally I tell myself they're more work so they have to be better than my usual blockier method, but then I get it assembled and it just doesn't work for me. Blergh.
