Lewd Ivy Animation High Res

Hi everyone,

Here's the finished Ivy animation. I used the same method as with the last Poste animation: base lines and colors done in Grease Pencil and lighting done in CSP. I also did a little post processing (or compositing) in blender to adjust some colors and add a bloom effect on the highlights.

I'm going to work on the artwork for this week and next week and try to find some time to start a new animation. I'm thinking of animating another twerking Poste, but maybe I'll come...

Hi Deluxe Everyone.

Here's updated WIPs for this week's artwork.

1. Ivy WIP: I added color and some shadows and started rendering the background. If you look closely at the background bed sheets, you'll see I left some orange colors peeking through. The colors felt a little unbalanced with all the warm tones being isolated on Ivy's skin and cool tones on the background. Leaving some of those warm orange colors peeking through the blue sheets adds a little balance I think. I'm goin...

Happy Art Tip Tuesday everyone.

Here's a reference of some cubes in various angles and rotations. I would also call this a suggested practice since you can repeat what I did here as an exercise to better understand how to draw basic shapes in perspective. I used a cube in this example, but you can do this exercise with any form.

1. Ivy WIP. I don't know what to call this one just yet. It's Ivy laying in bed, boobs out. I want to give this a render and post processing similar to the Jessica Rabbit I did to make it look almost like a photo, like an intimate photo for select eyes only. Behind-the-Scenes Jan 2023 Week 2: Part 2

Hi everyone.

Here's updated WIPs for this week's artworks.

1. Ivy's Birthday Gift Comic WIP. I added color and started the render on some of the panels. Still need to render the rest.

2. Poste painting WIP. So I've been working on painting the sketch I showed on Sunday. Here's a version that's more developed. You can still nee some of the rough sketch faintly in parts because I'm still working on this parts. I still need to add some directly lighting and shadows over it.

Art Tip: Correcting Cube Mistakes

Happy Art Tip Tuesday everyone.

Here's a quick tip on correcting and drawing a cube in perspective.

I often see beginners drawing cubes that don't follow any perspective. They draw the three sides and say it's 3D but it always looks off. This is usually because they don't have the edges of the cube converging to a point in space, or simply put: they aren't following any perspective. Knowing the rules of perspective will help anyone improve their drawing skills.

Animation: Poste Jan 2023

Hi everyone!

Here's a new animation of Poste.

Art Tip: Shiny Objects

Hi Everyone,

Happy Art Tip Tuesday! Here's some notes on painting shiny objects.

I think the important thing about shiny objects is to keep the edges hard and keep the values in high contrast. The more you push those, the shinier you can make the object look.

Brining in colors from the background or surrounding objects can help sell the effect too. It's something I do in my own drawings a lot.

Hi everyone.

Thanks for your continued support this month. It's a new month and a new year. I've got a few updates for today.

Art Tip: Stylized Lighting and Shadows

Hi Everyone. Happy Art Tip Tuesday.

Here's a tip about stylizing your color choices for light and shadows. It's similar to my tip about nudging light colors toward yellow and shadow colors toward blue, but you can choose any color for the light and shadow colors. I'll sometimes use stylized lighting for some quicker artworks because it can set a certain mood pretty easily.

I think the key to making this work is keeping the temperatures of the light and shadows different. So if the...

Hi everyone,

Merry Day-After-Christmas. This is sort of a surprise update. My trip to spend the holidays with my family was canceled. I tried to reschedule my plane twice after cancelations, but ultimately had to just cancel it all. I was pretty bummed out by it mostly because I lost a whole day just sitting around the airport just to go back to my place and spend the holidays alone.
