No Update for October 2023

We're sorry to say that the update we hoped to push out, a dialogue system that was less buggy and more standardized by integrating Ink, has taken a bit more rejiggering than we had hopped. Ideally when this process is finished, the Ink development kit, which is a tool for creating visual novel style dialogue systems among other things, will enable us to make more complex dialogue faster than before, but it's going to take us a hot minute.

Game Build v0.6.12.2 (QoL #4 - Dialogue Systems and UI)

Latest build involves us swapping to a new dialogue parser to hopefully speed things along and allow us to add more features! We've also nailed a few bugs and are experimenting with various methods of handling issues in the siege battles going forward to hopefully smooth those systems out more!

Game Build: Game Build v0.6.9.0 (Rescue the Human Princess!)

We've added the start of the Human Princess Rework to the Build! Soon we hope to add in her new sprites, and get the rest of her story functioning through kingdom unificiation!

  • Tooltips have been added to many of the UI elements to help clear up any ambiguity. Hover over it for ~3 seconds or you can change them to show up when you hold the ctrl button in the options menu. You may also disable them entirely.

Build v0.6.6.0

Some issues this month kept us from getting very much done but we're still narrowing down on fixing the issues and getting the core game loop as playable as possible.

Game Build v0.6.3.0 (Empire Update #1 - Freeplay Mode)

We're making headway with deeper system additions now! The Freemode is explained below, but in short should turn on the ability to start building stuff on existing nodes on the map. We're still working on the details but soon we'll have things working properly between the two modes.

Game Build. Beta v0.6.2.1

This one came a little later than we wanted, the save system reworks gave us more trouble than we liked. The original plan is still going on however, and our next focus  is on army interactions to start getting the world turned on and more alive before we begin expanding the story once more.
