First time I tried watercolour in around 10 years. As I only had 3 colours, RGB, it was very difficult to blend forward the right tones. Especially as the RGBs were really dark. I learned along the way but it was definitely difficult.

Are you guys excited for Inktober? I love to play with my traditional art and practice my unstable hands to make smoother lines. But of course I clean up a lil with the gel pen to make it look more seamless.

When creating a Mythical Annie, it is always hard to decide if you should go the stereotypical route of a Gijinka or add your own flair.
As Annies are Individuals, I want them to look like such, and not just a humanoid version of the Plant|Animal that they are blessed by. While style making sure the the original vibe of their blessing can be seen in some way.

Mermay's Mythical!
Many expected a fancy girly mermaid but NOPE! Went for elegant boy in sea instead ohoho! ♥ I spent so long time on this design. All the tiny details and trying to keep it balanced and not over detailed. I do not want Annies to be too hard to redraw, which is important for me.

One of my personal favs! Bubble eyed Goldfish is such an adorable animal I tell you! I made the big round pigtails to represent the roundness in it's oversized eye design. As well as round earrings to enchance that.
Fins on the hips to make her feel fresh and fishy ohoho.

First day of Aninktober!! I had great fun doing this. But the more time I'm away from home, the more stressed I become about all the things I got to do. I remember when I ended up in the ambulance from almost suffocating and they gave me lots of painkillers, that they had hard time keeping me calm as I kept crying on how "I can't be sick, I must work!"

A stress relief illustration (Hitowa for pose reference) as a small celebration for being done with my cancer treatments!! WUT WUT ♥ I'm now on remission for 5 years before I'm declared Cancer free. I'm at very high risk of getting cancer again within the upcoming weeks up to 2 years. Then the Hospital visits will be less and less until the 5 year mark, as long as the cancer stays silent, that is!

Going through radiation therapy everyday is rough. Having no access to a computer, Traditional art it is! It is very straining on my hand though and I don't have many colours to use. But I find it incredibly fun to just doodle and play around ❤
