THETA v0.3 Patreon Release

 v0.3 is finally ready, though you'll catch any bugs before it goes public next month, 6th July. (And hopefully there'll be a few more last minute scenes added in too)Mostly focused on Bramble and Rylide, with the latters internals eating up most of the word count here. Overall this update has about 30k words (which makes it more than a quarter of everything)  More stuff to come to expand on these in v0.3.5, coming soon!

"Night Mode" View

New idea, since the white glare of Quest's BG is harsh at the best of times: Changing all the UI elements from the default white background to a dark grey, white text etc etc

Internals would still be the same though.

Toggled on and off via phone?

The real question is: Should you start automatically in dark mode?

It's a small thing, but I'll let you guys decide the colour of the text for the Game image.

Walkthrough has finally been written, and should give you a quick rundown of every area and all the scenes available. Give it a look to see if you've found everything I'm willing to put into a walkthrough, maybe you'll find something you've missed!

THETA v0.3 Alpha 1

Early month alpha, since this includes mostly coding, rather than writing (in terms of word count, it's only about 7k). So really I just want you to break this quest in every way possible so I know what to fix. Leave Bug reports in the comments below.

Patreon Fee Change

Important Notice which you've probably no doubt seen everywhere on Twitter/FA etc

But Patreon are changing how they handle processing fees from December 18th, by shifting them onto you PER PLEDGE rather than the previously per transaction from me. The rate is 2.9% + $0.35, which is bad for lower tier pledges.

Bishop Scene Idea

Thinking on expanding on the Bishop scenes a little, giving him a new thing that could be some fun.  But, what should it be? How should it happen?

Here's what's been happening since I've been back

- Patron Scenes w/ Richie (OV/FT) and Leon (Pica, Lewd Pica, CV [with a twist]). Cherri Moved to Second Floor of Apartments (West Side)

- Quest System (You have a phone now! Currently tracks: Selicia Quest, and Scone Quest.) Yes I know these have terrible names. You guys can name the next ones~

Patreon Tiers Reminder and Next Couple of Months

Just another reminder that the character tier has been removed, and I'll be switching to a commission based system that'll open in December.

Jeez that's a while away, huh? Why then?

Two-fold:

1: October is going to be spent finishing the current v0.2.5 release, on current scenes that I don't want to get sidetracked from because I don't want a delay since...

2: November is NaNoWriMo! So that 50k is getting funnelled right into filling out a bunch of plot and general story line...

Aaaaaand we're back!

Okay, August is over, most of the craziness is dying down, and now I can finally put all my excessive caffeine consumption towards WRITING SMUT

Current Plan is as follows:

1. Finish Overdue Patron Scenes, Close $15/$40 Tiers

2. Finish Code rework, define certain game mechanic ideas (See next post)

3. Expand 'Main Four' - Etto, Rylide, Rif as a basic scenes

4. Work on next stage of Cafe quest line

So yeah, something I really should have addressed last month when I thought it wouldn't be as much of a deal and I'd only be a week or so behind schedule than a month.

So recently I've had a few RL shifts of things (Like, moving house and jobs, among other things) which admittedly is hardly an excuse to go mostly quiet on here, despite work still going forward (if very, very slow). But then again, these last couple of updates have had a bimonthly development cycle anyway. Which brings me neatl...

Payment Changes

I've been contemplating switching payment to charge immediately on pledge, since it seems like it's best practice for most Patreon users. Been waiting for this update and the end of the month before it'll happen

This should have no effect on any of you guys since I won't do it until next month anyway, but I'd love to hear your take on it all and any concerns you may have.
