I rose out of the throne in my soul palace. The mana crystals embedded in the bone-white bricks were dim, and more than a few were chipped and cracked. My soul palace had once been just a place for my soul to manifest and power my spells. But now, at the sixth rank, it was the home of my domain, a small piece of reality held within me.
