Finalized beanies and caps :D

After lots of debating, I finally decided on which colors to go with for the beanies!

If you missed my IG stories, I had a lot of issues figuring out which colors to go with. The more vibrant colors I wanted weren't available in the classic style, so it was quite a challenge to decide.

In the end, I opted for the classic style for the the beanies with the addition of the light blue and green in the alternative style.

Pre-ordered mugs take 4-6 weeks for me to make.

After trialing 3 different manufacturers and waiting 5 months for samples, I'm sad to say that the latest samples for the mug have completely failed.

The supplier changed the the clay type without telling me, resulting in a very plain brown cat. (Looks like it went for a tan??)

So it's back to start again, trying to find a partner who can make this mug a reality.

However I'm starting to lose hope and think that outsourcing anything this customized just won't be possible. I'l...

Thinking about the future

So I've been looking ahead - like months and years ahead- about what to make in the future for my business.

My shop originally started as a handmade art shop, focused on making small accessories and stationery. I created polymer clay pins, hand painted mini wooden earrings and cut out all my stickers at home from my desk.

But my shop has evolved over the years and I expanded into making more designs and outsourcing the work, because it became too much for me to manage at home.

August happy mail - Summer vibes

Summer vibes have finally returned (at least in Sweden!). After a really cold and rainy July, we're finally getting warmer weather here which means time to enjoy the garden, picnics and fresh fruits.

The postcard will look familiar because it features the capybaras from a few months ago, but this time in postcard form. I had gone back and forth a lot that month between going with the postcard or sticker, and at the time went with the sticker. But I just love the print so much and really...

Full transparency - I'm struggling

I'm not sure what it is about this month, but I'm really struggling to get things done.

My goal was to do the ceramics update at the end of next week, but I can feel myself falling behind day by day as I try to reach my goal of doing a huge restock.

Mug sample update - happy accidents

A happy accident happened during manufacturing the mug sample! Could it be true?

This mug was supposed to be made with white stoneware, but it was accidentally made with a different kind of clay, giving it this beige/speckled look.

And I absolutely LOVE it!

The sample needs to be remade because it's currently way too large to be used as a mug, but I am so excited to get this in my hands and see it in person.

Happy mail - capybara vinyl stickers

After lots of debate, I decided to go with a vinyl sticker for this month's happy mail, but I love the design so much and am very tempted to make a postcard too now 😂

It's been a long time since I've been so proud of an illustration and I'd like to try making this into a large painting for my wall.

It's that time of year again when I design for Christmas during summer :P

Back to the beginning with the Manufactured Mugs

It's been a real challenge finding a reliable manufacturer who can bring my vision to life.

Despite many rounds of revisions and feedback, the mugs are still not there. The colors are just so off and there are minor details still being missed.

So, I'm back to looking for another manufacturer which means starting the whole process over. I am very doubtful now that they will be here for Christmas, but at this point I'm just hoping to find a long term partner to work with.

Digital download - Duckie notepad

Here is your digital download for April! I had this vision for a notepad using the ducks, and when I was making it I thought it was missing something... so I added ducklings! I think it came out so cute :D I just wish I had thought of doing ducklings for the sticker sheet too.

This digital download has an additional super printer friendly version in the PDF where the entire bg is white to help you save ink.
