Awesome peculiarities.

I love the complexity of female bodies, for example, AIM has a cute thin black hair on her belly that starts from her pubic hair and spreads up towards her breast (you can see it zooming in today's photo).

One more photo of this lovely Aussie Lady on my regular social media today.

Forbidden sister.

Alexa recently contacted me to shoot again, but during the Winter I'm not doing any shooting because daylight is at a minimum and because models feeling cold look miserable.
She also told me about her sister traveling with her, showed me her profile and made me fall in love with her.
Pity the sister is doing only "covered" nudes, which is not something I'm interested in.
I'm sorry for that, folks, she was a stunner!

Anyway, here is Alexa in all her beauty, with 2 more photos of...

Looking on the bright side.

I adore this Russian beauty, and I'm happy she managed to come in Italy, because it appears it is going to become increasingly difficult in the future for her to obtain a visa.
I'm sorry that a perfectly happy young creature like her has to pay for the sins of her nation, just as most of my Ukrainian models have to pay for a war they didn't want.
I don't talk with my models about these kind of problems, because I refuse to have an opinion on things that I don't fully understand, and I d...

On the margins.

I couldn't resist posting another photo from the Fujifilm X100V also today, this is even older than yesterday's, from January 2021, featuring Kiki.
For her I did not want to limit myself to square crops, and most of the times I was enlarging the image to bring in the frame the portions of the raw file it would have been a pity to cut out.
I'm sure you understand my reasons by looking at the margins of the photo.

Happy memories.

As far as I can see, there are still plenty of photos of Linda that I still have to show you, and today I chose this one, because she is happy and smiling.
It is coming from the sequence shot on the Fujifilm X100V, because in 2021 (this was August) I was already making experiments with this brand of cameras to decide if I wanted to buy their medium format camera.
At the time I decided not to proceed, and bought the Leica SL2-S instead, to complement the Panasonic Lumix S1 I was using at...

Tilt.

September 2020, about half way through my story with Martina, shooting 11° of 20.
It was a memorable day and very hot, for the reason you can imagine, but also for the temperature in Milano.
And today I selected 2 more pictures from this same day, and from the same chair, one on my regular social media feed, and the other one on DA Subscriptions.
I guess this is going to become a hot day also for you people, whatever the temperature, because that tilt in her head is full of promises...

Old but gold.

I've been scheduling until Sunday, but left out today!!!
Fortunately I noticed, so this post is just delayed and not forgot altogether.

I went for an old picture of Hilary C. + 2 more on my regular social media feed and DA Subscriptions, sorry fro the inconvenience.

Filling the space.

Sorry not to have this location available any more, I need new places to take Maria next Summer, possibly 3!
Such a huge space is difficult to find, and a dream to have as location for my shootings.
Sugar was a good match for this empty space.

1 more picture of Sugar today on my regular social media feed, both pictures were made by the Leica M240, not bad for an 11 years old digital camera.

Kitchen.

The kitchen is a great room to shoot in, because it offers many cues, but I don't see many nowadays, as I'm shooting mainly in hotel rooms or abandoned places.
Next time I see a kitchen, I promise I will make better use of it, meaning I will make sure to show it is a kitchen, not like in this picture that could have been shot anywhere.
What really matters, though, is to show the beauty of the models, wherever they happen to be.

Creepy.

My experiments on Reddit are progressing, and I'm soliciting some reactions from the people there, not all positive, but I was expecting that because redditors can be very unpleasant, I have experienced that some years ago.
One bloke on a Leica subReddit even suggested I should chose a "less creepy genre of photography".
I'm not sure why nudes should be considered creepy (possibly a different upbringing), or if it is just mine that are doing this effect on him, but this does not affect ...

The red car.

May 2022, in Merate with Ania, shot on Leica SL2-S + Nikon 135mm f2 Defocus Control.
Should I get back experimenting with my exotic lenses?
Of course it was easier in the house in Merate, with no space limitations for longer lenses, and with the ease of taking with me whatever I wanted...

Monochrom Saturday (with rosary).

Towards the end of the shooting, when the daylight from the window was getting dim and it was raining heavily, I decided to shut off all lights in the hotel room and grab the Leica M10 Monochrom to test its true potentials, and this camera amazed me once more.
Shooting at 12,500 ISO, the BW sensor is still capable of making some of the most significant photos I've ever made.
Not sure if the low light is making the model relax, or if it is the soft light filtering through the curtain giv...

Back to Eden.

For the Friday dedicated to Martina, I've picked 2 photos from another iconic series among the hydrangeas, shot on the Sony A7 + the Leica Summicron-M 90mm, during our second shooting together in July 2018.
I started with mirrorless cameras with this inexpensive Sony to make the most of this mythical lens I had from the film era, back when I was trying to use it on the 1982 Leica M4-P.
It never worked well on that film M, but was disappointing also with the digital M240.
The only cam...

Harsh light.

The Fujifilm GFX 50S II + "Martin" (the Zeiss T* 1,4/85mm Planar ZF named after the Patron that sponsored part of the purchase) always amazes me with the results it produces.
The endless latitude of gradations between light and shadows without clipping any of the extremes in such a high contrast scene; the richness of colors; the rendering of the out of focus areas not only blurred, but also wild!
In all that, also the model, our true focus, is perfectly highlighted in every detail.

What you can't see.

Considering the situation we were working in on Sunday, Miss Blondt and I made a great job.
The cramped hotel room has left no trace in this photo, and the model is just placed on a nice off-white limbo with an interesting shadow casted in front of her.
People observing the photo have no idea she was actually checking not to step on the 2 opened suitcases on the floor, and that the photographer was seated on the bed.
The only thing we're aware of in this picture is the perfectly tune...

NEW #BRAMLEYAPPLE BLOSSOMING ON THE 🍏 TREE…

Miss Blondt, my new Apple from Sunday's shoot, has beautiful blond hair, and a spectacular body!
Today on my regular social media feed you will see mainly her hair, whilst on Patreon you're going to see mainly her body, ideally you should see both...

The hotel room was awful, small and dark (because of the late hour and the bad weather), but we did manage to take some good pictures.
2 things are for sure:
- shooting in Winter is a bad idea,
- the hotel in Milano I'm usually...

Bloody Reddit.

Some social media are really hard to master.
When I finally managed to unlock the secrets of Twitter, it was bought by Musk and become X, where I'm stuck with my 10,000 followers even after over 1 year of paid subscription!
Another social I never mastered is Reddit, where people are touchy and get offended very easily.
But on Saturday I tried to gather some informations about how to make it work and I will work on it in the future, to try and get more people to join my #BramleyApple ...

Technical perfection.

Yesterday I promised to show you an example of the pictures I will be compelled to shoot today in Milano with the new model, with the Nikon D 810 and the Profoto A1 flash off camera.
As you can see, the quality is very good, and the model is perfectly outlined, the only thing missing is the atmosphere of available light and the selective focus I get with wider apertures of the lens.
This is technical representation of beauty in high definition, but it is not my preferred style because t...

Out of the window.

On Sunday, the weather is going to be bad, and it is pity because I will be in Milano to shoot a new model, a very athletic one!
Rain means clouds, and clouds mean no sun, and no light on my beautiful new model.
I'm going to take the GFX medium format camera anyway, but I'm not sure I can afford to use it at all.
The M10 Monochrom is great in low light, so I should be able to use it, for some BW in natural (available) light.
But the main camera I will have to use is going to be th...

Brothers in Arms.

My oldest brother, the one living in Australia, has written a book about his memories of national service in 1959.
I read it all and it ended up becoming something of a comic book about British military life back then.

Useful photography.

Choosing the right subject for your photography is paramount.

I feel lucky, because I think about most other amateur photographers that are having a hard time justifying their work, showing it out there, because it is of little interest for most people.
If you like taking pictures of BW architecture details, or colored flowers, insects, most people are going to find them boring and will skip over them as soon as they can.
If you shoot landscapes, and you’re doing an exceptional ...

Dominant of sub?

For the first 3 shootings with Cristiana, I really enjoyed to tie her up in so many different ways, and she always played along fine.
This was March 2021, in the navigli area of Milan.
I love her serious expression in this photo, more as a predator than a victim...

2 more photos of her in this same predicament later today, on my regular social media feed and on DA Subscriptions.

Let us bow before their sacrifice.

Maybe I'm just becoming old, but I am a little worried about these young generations...
As far as I can see, their situation is similar to what this photo of Ania in Consonno is illustrating, they are looking at a world previous generations have left in ruins.
No jobs available, no future in sight, and even the hearth itself is in danger.
Ania has been studying for years to become a simultaneous translator, whilst this technology is already available to anybody with an iPhone in his ...

Monochrome Saturday.

I’m enjoying my new (used) Leica M10 Monochrome!
More for the results from the BW sensor, than for it’s practicality, because the M system is not the friendliest…
I can use only the 50mm lens, I’m not framing accurately, and sometimes I ignore the rangefinder altogether and use the back screen instead: that is like using a glorified smartphone, instead of one of the most expensive cameras on the market!

For my nudes I’d rather have an SL body with a BW sensor, or th...

Friday appointment.

Here we are again, on the end of the week with our beloved Martina.
If you've looked at her IG profile recently, you should know she has just delivered a baby, and that explains why she disappeared from the scene for so long.

Who knows if she is ever going to be back modeling for me again in the future...
But somehow, my archives of photos has become even more important than ever before.
Like the 3 photos I'm posting today, with Martina playing on this chair near the window, in...

NEW #BRAMLEYAPPLE BLOSSOMING ON THE 🍏 TREE…

They say you have to love the subject of your photos if you want to make a good job.
And the magic worked also this time, because I fell in love with Julia Morozzi!

We had a great time working together and, strangely enough, she was happy to use the handcuffs (and the collar), but refused to wear a rosary because she is actually a godly woman in her own way.
Actually she really enjoyed playing with the handcuffs, acting like in this photo, and she was great!

Traveling photographer.

I like to think of myself as a great traveller, but I'm not.
Fortunately my models are!

In this case I met Anna half way, in Brescia, in the apartment of my friend and fellow photographer.

And today I'm in Milano, to shoot with another new model, from Russia with love!

If I only had more time...

To tell the truth, I believe if I had more time I would just waste it.
Sometime I wish I had all day to dedicate to my photography, but my daily work in an assembly line is useful, both to pay the bills, but also to help me focus on my hobby in my spare time.
On Saturday I had some time for me in the afternoon, I prepared the gear for the shooting on the 22nd with a new model, but I still feel having lost a lot of time doing nothing in particular.
This demonstrates that when I do hav...
