The next few weeks!

Hello everybody! thanks for the continued support, nearly getting there with the new place. and starting on some new videos/machines amongst other things.

In the coming weeks you can look forward to! :-

-A live stream. so basically im waiting for a door to be put in on my space, the second thats up i can setup all the synth stuff and ill be doing a premature livestream in the new space. got a handful more webcams! its a bit of a trial to see how it goes in the new place! so lets see.

Tonights Livestream!

Just about to start getting ready for this evenings livestream. Beginning at 20:30 GMT

The final livestream in the place I live now! Hence it’s slightly earlier in the month than usual! As I’m moving this week on to bigger and better things!

I’ve shelled out and bought another cam so there’s now 3 camera positions. Ooooh fancy.

Ok so this is quite a long vid! but i decided not to cut it down any more as this is more of a video to answer questions! this is only half of the vid! its gunna be about 25 minutes long i think. i'm going to do an all nighter now to get the rest edited, and all the annotations and sounds effects popped on! so you should see the finished one up tomorrow!

To popular demand from the last vote :). The above box is the next giveaway machine, which i put together for the next video! its basically the SUPER SIMPLE OSCILLATOR. but with some important updates! such as :-

-it can run off a 9v battery.

-CV control over pitch, aswell as over filter!

its still super simple! sadly no V/oct on this, as understandably trying to achieve stuff with minimal components! however its quite tuneful plugged into sequencers and keyboard...

Accelerometer amplification circuit!

so this is what i settled on, a little drawing of what was required to make the accelerometer useful with synthesisers.

Basically the thinking behind the above circuit is :-

The accelerometers output between about half a volt, however that half a volt is between 1volt and 1.5 volts, so the axis facing down is 1 volt and when you move it up to the other extreme it becomes 1.5 volts.

This is problematic for two reasons!

- 1 it is hardly anything! for a 1v/oct oscillator (1v is ...

How many displays do you need?

This many! They are actually only voltage meters. Great to add to any project! Wire the power and ground to your power supply. Then the other wire to anything you want to meter!

It won’t effect the signal!

Super cheap. And a nice way to have a visual representation of what’s going on. They are a bit slow. Take half a second to update. And no idea how accurate. But accurate enough!!

Anyone got any ideas what this is? Spent quite a while this week working out the next vid. It’s been quite a bit of experimentation that I think you will all find quite interesting! And I think it will be a simple enough concept to try! And go as complicated with it as you want. This image is a very small part of it. So if anyone guesses! I’ll send you a crunchie (English chocolate bar) in the post. 👍👍

Nearly back! It was a very long weekend indeed! with an extra fun show in the middle, and not to mention Superbooth. Editing the video of all of the shenanigans as we speak! hopefully it will be up on Wednesday!

LIVESTREAM ON THE 10th At 8pm GMT. (i know the 8th has 1 more vote, but annoyingly i don't think i will realistically be able to do it, due to the travelling and setting up and what not) But i've bought another camera for angle 2! lets see how that pans out!!!

Attached is a half hour ambient jam, where the parts in this video were taken from.

This video was meant to touch on the vidiot and the CADET DIY modules by LZX, but i didn't finish the cadets in time! they are quite simple but i stupidly ordered the wrong amount for a couple of things. so that will be in a couple of weeks when i actually have a clue whats going on!
