I picked this up at a car boot sale the other day, its got pong on it, dreaming up a rather elaborate way for the synths to be able to play it, a way to see it and play it, CAN SYNTHESIZER PLAY PONG?

WOODWORK DRUMS

So yes, i've nearly finished working out a simple as i can make drum. thats still pretty versatile, Im still trying to skim some components off it, as they don't all need to be there still!

Depending on a couple of values you can change, you can make it anything from a low angry droning kick, to the tiniest of claves. 

This video is one with a set of values that are in the middle, so it doesn't go too low or too high, but thats up to you!

Its the kind of circuit you would find...

So someone requested simple drum modules, so i started last night. heres the Super Easy Kick Drum. its not meant to be good. but it gets the job done, with as little parts as i possibly could do without it being super un kickly.

hello! very sorry, been a rather hectic day. to top it off my interface decided to be an utter bum head and break down about 20 minutes ago!!! Expect to be rolling in about 25 minutes, around 10 to 9.... come in have a chat! and yeah :)

To top things off the furby organs keyboard seems to have broken down! so i may be doing some livestream repairs. but i gotta going so canny fix behind camera! :D

long long long long few days to get it to here. a couple of the furbies are dead, but meh. ill fix them another day! for now i shall relish in the fact its a FURBY ORGAN.

Furby Organ Update! A plan that comes together

At the beginning of today I was having a bit of a meltdown, sat there screwing in all of the potentiometers. Each task taking atleast twice as long as i had initially planned. At about 10 tonight i nearly decided to hand in the towel for the week, i had fried about 10 arduinos in the space of 5 minutes, and bodged a load of wires, setting me back hours. but then BOOM, 6 hours later here i am looking back and the plan is finally starting to take shape!

Furby organ update

Today is off to a good start! the midi to gate section has gone together without a hitch. Its just recycling old ideas to make a 44 out midi converter.

The code i found a while back on the net by a fellow called tom scarff i have included it here. Each arduino fires out 11 seperate gates. Didnt have time to cut it down to one with all that fancy multiplexing jiff jaff. So thats that!

The keyboard is nearly done also! I am yet to adjust the code to make it work 100 percent with that. Its ...

Furby organ update

So i've come to the decision, i've had to put everything else on hold. (ie the Robodoc, and the step sequencer posts) until this is done!

I have put the self inflicted deadline on myself of shooting the video this Thursday, which leaves about 85 hours in total i have to complete this machine!

i've been back on it for the past couple of days, and yes. There is a to do list as long as my arm. Thanks to the rather eccentric way i had designed it. That being it acting like a p...

To fur or not to fur! that is the question

So im at a turning point in the development of furby organ. Because we may have come up with another idea for the fur. i cant work out wether they should be furred or not furred in the final video.............. the none furred do look cool all black, however they dont look like furbies!!! and furred they look all furby like and well... you know! like furbies. 

so im casting a vote to help me! i may not go with the final decision on here but I will most definitely sway the decision!

Livestream day votes

Hey! so heres 3 dates for the next livestream. 

After this one i'll be upping them to once every 3 weeks! I was hoping to do a Liveestream sooner but i'm running a pretty tight schedule on the Furby organ!!!

There will be a giveaway announced later this week. just a bit of fun noise making, but a giveaway regardless! 

i've also ordered some tees! so i'll give a few away on here! And even better! the safety valve project is nearly complete so ill be giving some panel/pcb's...

Furby Organ Update

So furby organ is set for completion in the first 10 days of feb!

Annoyingly I haven't been able to do much on it but collect more Furbies for this mean machine the last 2 weeks. As i've had some overhanging work, to do so it frees the rest of the year up for BIG MACHINES!

I think i have enough now :D. the above picture isn't all of it! there are plenty more now. 

I will be announcing the date of the next livestream in the next couple of days! it will be a tiny bit later than ...
