amazing! thanks very much, i just reached a goal on patreon i never thought i would reach! lets look forward to 2018! Got a few large projects planned. Which should make people happy!

Furby Organ Resources

Compiling all of the notes i've got on the furby organ, pre build. should be with you by the end of the week! after the furby organ is done, then you can also have all the code and blue prints and whatever, if your crazy enough to build one (or half or one or whatever) haha.

Spent a bit today working out the plan for january. i've got some interesting things coming along. but everything will be overshadowed by the humungous furby organ shaped elephant in the room! The sheer mass of soldering is making my brain go dead. But it will all be worth it!

FURBY ORGAN UPDATE

9 furby voices down! 35 more to go 🤣.

Oh it’s been a long Day but it’s starting to sound like a furby organ! In the picture you can see 9 furbies connected to that large piece of stripboard which has 9 voice cards on it. It’s rather complicated and over the top.<

Planning out the next few weeks tomorrow so I shall keep you up to date with stuff like the next livestream and stuff!

Furby organ update.

So if you’ve been checking this the past week or two you’ll know I’m starting work on the furby organ. A pretty big Christmas project, <br>I’ve definitely bit off more than I can chew with this one 😂.<br>44 furbies. Each with a voice card with quite a bit of circuitry on it. <br><br>I’ve fried a handful so after some urgent last minute furbzzz. <br><br>More info to come. Hopefully will be done sorta in the next week 😃

So yes. I’m back at my mums for Christmas. And using it as a time to build the furby organ! Finally a 6 year long dream is coming to crunch point.

Just placed an order of electronic components for the most over engineered electronic musical instrument I’ve ever attempted. As each furby will have its own multifaceted voice card involving a formant synth and a glitching vibrato circuit. Oh it’s going to be heavenly, and no doubt you will get updates!

VALVE DOCUMENTATION AS PROMISED

so the full video wont be up for 10 days or so! so give you plenty of time for a head start if you so choose! heres the layout, and also a bit of a sound demo. at the end im using it as a rudimentary oscillator.

The flame thrower organ! So before anyone wonders why its over on red bull. The last couple of red bull themed projects were a build up to this, annoyingly i spent absolutely every single penny they gave me (and more) to develop the machine you see above! 

Which was stupid! But i'm sure you understand, its better having something that properly works and is awesome! than having money haha......

This Months HOW TO, An Update.

SO yes as you may have saw last week in a photo update. there was a valve sitting around. Well Basically i'm working on a valve Overdrive which is friendly with popping in a modular synth! Its LOW VOLTAGE, so you could legitimately lick your fingers and touch the insides without fear of death. All the more to experiment with hey!

heres a DUAL Overdrive! which is the prototype to the how to video. I've had a couple of set backs, but its coming! working on the video and documentation tonight! WO...

So yes! Cus of Christmas the Patreon livestream will be going down on the 19th! Any preference on a time? It will have to be after 8pm GMT. <br>Talk about a few interesting progressions. DECEMBER

so thanks a lot! November turned out pretty good for projects. Including the sequencers and all that jazzz. This month there’s the BIG project that has taken a while finally going up!... yep... the firey one!

OLD SCHOOL DISTORTION VIDEO

This may be of interest for people! i found this, which i made back in 2016 a few months before i started the whole look mum no computer shabang. 

figured i should put it up here! its the same circuit as my Cereal box solderless distortion. 

this is more practical!! you can sort of add CV also. with a diode going into the transistor. for more distortion! try it. or add a vactrol between the 9v and the transistor!
