Not seen in the video but its actually pretty awesome for synths, as synths are LOUD, and the noise to synth ratio is really really good. i was playing a synth through it and could hear it out in the street!
also really good plugging straight into a synth as the signal out of the receiver is really loud!

This is the first one! From this weekends video! (Synthphoney the Nokia 3310 synth, is a bit delayed) so I’m doing it with these beasts!

The code is laid out for none coders (like myself) who use logic like "well if this does this, then this must do this" in mind. so its not the finest. but its written so nothing is hidden!

Hopefully if you need something like this you will give it a go! it will be able to work on even a 9v battery, or even the usb power going into the arduino! so you can pop it in a tuppaware box. anything!
this won't work with the super simple oscillators yet. sorry... a video on that to come! but theres no reason why you cant build a simple vactrol and put it accross the pot of that oscilla...

It’s coming I promise! It’s looking pretty mean. Video will include it from bare metal to it fully working, I bit off more than I could chew to get this done in a weekend!! But the project is going to be a good contribution to synth DIY as a whole.

Good news! The rapid online package with all the bits turned up today!
So this I am building for the 100 oscillator synth it’s basically an 8 step sequencer. SUPER SIMPLE,, low part count
BUT it can act like a keyboard too! So there’s a button per step which makes it jump to that step. Which can be used to jazz up the sequence. And play as a keyboard when no clock is inputted.
Haven’t typed up the code and what not so getting this all done by Sunday might be a tall ord...
So this video isnt coming this week! tracker video is coming which has been on my to do list for a while! as i managed to get my hands on the NERDSEQ. more info on that tomorrow!!

This live looper is what i've used for a few years now. its based upon this code but made more useful (in my eyes) with up to 128 steps. and delete command.... and removed menu diving with other modes deleted.
Hey so im working out what to do for the next month. still sticking at 1 video a week. hopefully soon ill be at a point where i can step that up to 2 a week or something!

I will be writing a lot more about this machine. but quickly for those who cant wait a couple of days! this is what i did.
the 100k position has changed. its gone to the other leg of the transistor! makes it act a bit more like a normal oscillator without an offset. then added in this image is the best super simple filter i found to work with this specific oscillator. you can add to both the pitch knob and the filter knob vactrols easy!!! check my filters easy peasy lemon squeezy ep...

So I have 5 boards left over from the hundred oscillator synth. (Video coming tomorrow!!!!! I’m still editing it). In the next couple of weeks I’m going to pop them in an enclosure with a battery compartment and stuff and it will be the next give away! In a couple of weeks. It will be judged the same as last time with an excel spreadsheet I’ve got haha. With all of the names. It seems fairest. So someone who pledges 10 has 10 lines on the excel sheet and so on.

Well sort of.... 50 oscillators wired in. It sounds like a swarm of angry bees from mars. Second panel to go and add the modulation and cv sections and were golden! Set to be done by Friday morning. Fingers crossed, on the how many oscillators is too many project 👍👍👍👍👍

Too many holes! But onto the home straight now. Tomorrow night it’s gunna probably be a long one. Soldering the endless amounts of wires between the boards. And boom! Should be ready by the weekend 👍👍👍

Managed to build about half of the oscillators for the “how many oscillators is too many” tonight. It’s getting pretty tedious! But definitely on track for next weekend.
This weekend I’m building a couple of kits! I got sent the moffenzeef modular jarmageddon so I’m going to build that. Add some funnies and that will be up on Sunday!
