5 hour Sketch Session for Tygre, featuring my favorite fighting dog-thing! This time, it's very gay, and has some BIG needs. A bunch of fun, even if i had to go a little over the time limit to wrap up all the coloring.

Not a lot to say, other than i probably should have stopped for the day after the 4th page

but, getting 5 done means there are only 4 left for next time! Once that's done, i'll be jumping back and forth between finishing this and Fumbled Press (the goodra/chu UB comic) on saturdays.

Hey! I really wanted to get this cover page finalized today, but i had to spend a few hours in the morning moving all the thumbnails into the empty Comic workfiles i made the other day. Then, resizing all the text and replacing all the narration boxes, and then i had to do some surgery to the thumbnail for the cover itself.

Yo! I haven't drawn nidoking for a long time. He used to be kind of intimidating to draw, but he's not as bad as i remember. A peculiar character, though! He's got like, boots. But they're his legs. I dunno.

Anyway! This was a lot of fun. Nidoran is wonderful.

The junk was pbf's decision. I'm not entirely sure i'd do a ballsack / sort of knotted thing for this guy if left up to my own devices. Maybe something rhino-themed? Still, can...

Hey all.

So, Haven CH2 and Start With A Kiss (the mouse hole prequel) are both ready for finished pages to start happening.

I have one comic day per week, and one sketch/sketchpoll day.

Haven is 26 pages, SWAK is 24. There are 52 weeks in a year.

So, at the current amount i can work o...

Having done the math, though, 25 pages here (and a coverpage) and 23 for Start With A Kiss, 1 page per week, we're looking at 6 months for each of them.

If numbers go up here i can add another day per week, and double production? I'll do a poll.

I spent my weekend working on the set model for the Mousehole Prequel comic 'Start With A Kiss'. Honestly i had the dock area done in like an hour and a half, and the rest of my time was spent on the plaza area that has the party that's in like

It's a good learning experience though.

There we go! Good way to spend the morning.

So i realized while working on this, that leafeon can't learn vinewhip? And at no point in the anime does it use vines, that i could find in a quick look.

However, one of the game entries about it says that it creates vines around itself, to protect itself? So now there are two potted plants on the headboard, to provide soil for the vines to emerge from.

It should do, i think!

Yo! I would have liked to get through the rest of these today, but I decided to make the set model first. That process is getting much faster, this was about 2.5 hours. It already helped with some more interesting shots, and will speed up background inking a ton when it comes time to do that.

I think im going to finish this up tomorrow, and maybe work on Onto You on sunday.

What a blast! Unfortunately, the characters are all like, blue and gray? And they also have a lot of overlapping bits. I tried my best to make everything visually separate, but it's a LITTLE dense.

So in the middle of this, i had to go to an eye dr appointment. I got my eyes dilated and apparently for the next 4 to 6 hours everything is going to be blurry and fucked up. I tried to bucket fill and color ramp this, like i usually do, but i simply can't see anything.

Thankfully I can touch type.

I'll fancy this up a little, and do the next one later tonight, hopefully, as well as edit and get you guys the time lapse...

Evening! So, TL;DR, I got started, and realized that since it helped me keep the shots in haven ch2 fresh, that i should take what i have learned and make the bedroom model for Onto You. It could stand to have some more props thrown together and placed around, to feel a little more lived in, but i'm pleased with how it came out. It'll save a ton of time once the final pass comes around!

Also don't mind the xy rat thrown in for scale.

I may draw a bit more tomorrow.

I got a new screen protector for the ipad, the current gen paperlike thing. It's way, way way better than the original one that sucked. It's actually like...sandpaper? I can feel it wearing the tip of the apple pencil down already, but those are pretty cheap to replace.
