v.0.11 Preview (III) - A hard choice (or not)

You know Kate was destined for some changes. She started with her hair and in 0.11 we will have to choose between two Kate versions for Act III. More changes in the future.

For some of you, it will be a hard choice, for others an easy one (whatever the decision). I love her in both of her shapes.

EDIT: About the lose of boobs and ass, perhaps these clothless images solve your doubts, if you have any. The lack of pubic hair is not definitive.

v.0.11 Preview (II) and Progress Report

Dad's calls return in v.0.11 after a while with some unsettling news.

A week after the last Progress Report and I've advanced a bit (in bold the changes since the last one):

Just in time, since Saira returns for v.0.11, and you know she will clash with Eileen at some point, right?

This time the theme was Super Heroine, and I doubted between Marvel and DC, so why not both? 

This could perfectly be a canon image of what Saira thinks of that clash, seeing herself as Wonder(ful) Woman and Eileen as the villain Redhead Witch.

v.0.11 Preview (I)

A little Indian lady wants to greet you after so long. She will show up on v.0.11 (with optional lewd included) and we will know what she has been up to since the break up.

Blinking poll

A couple of you and another couple of players in forums where the game is published when it becomes free, have told me that the blinking is not as great as I think it is.

Someone gets dizzy, someone told me his saves get messed up, etc.

Personally, I think it looks good since the characters look more alive, but I don't want anyone to feel bad for a cosmetic feature.

We are 10 days into the development cycle for v.0.11 and I've been working hard (or harder than usual, if you prefer). Besides fixing some bugs and typos, I've been writing a lot and rendering a little.

Hailey Preview (II)

Some people talked about their concerns about Hailey's masculinity perceived in the previous render and their curiosity about how petite she is.

The masculinity can be chalked to the sharp shadows of the previous image, as shown in this one. And 5'2.5" is considered petite, right? At least compared with the usual 5'11" in the house.

Continuing the introductions. 

Christine is an Asian-American girl from San Diego who will join the Dorm (and possibly the harem) while studying Law.

The MC must tread lightly around her if he wants to include her in the harem. She's strong-willed, stubborn, has a golden heart, and has a lot of wrong preconceived ideas.

Patty and Scarlett

Why I chose Patty's (and Scarlett's) model?

Because they are among the few models that have an adult and a teen version. As I did in the park scene with Simone, when young Simone, Erika, Daphne, and Emma appear, I have the idea of doing a scene where young Scarlett and Patty will show up. Like in the Simone scene, they won't be sexualized.

Yes, they know each other from the past. Here you also can see Scarlett in her redhead phase.

Once released the latest update, I continue working on the next ones. Even the far away ones.

Today I bring you a preview of Patty, or Patricia, a girl with a past who comes from Dallas to join the Dorm with the last batch of students.

She is coming to Newport to study for her medical degree.

A sweet girl with a lot of things to offer to the family (I'm not talking about free gynecological visits).

She will join the rest of the girls in Act III.

v.0.10B Revised Schedule and Changelog

I'm a liar, as I have demonstrated repeatedly. But a liar with good vibes.

Just yesterday I told you the release date would be on Sunday, May 21st, but the proofreaders are such good people that have worked hard so I had their corrections today. And there was a lot to correct. I think especially in the last scene my brain hadn't enough blood flow.

I fixed what they sent me and I have been able to publish today, Saturday, May 20th, so the whole release schedule is moved a day ahead...

v.0.10B release schedule

Last Friday I said you the update would be ready this week (remember in Spain the weeks start on Monday) and I will accomplish it!

The update is ready before proofreading and adding music/sfx. It's big!!!

A week ago I was on 15,000+ words and 1,836 renders. The update has right now 20,903 words (±200 due to proofreading) and 2,804 renders. I will publish a definitive changelog, with a table of content, when it gets ready.

First year (II) - A week later

v.0.10B Progress report (II)

Today I finished translating and testing the second scene for v.0.10B. It has a lot of of branching involved depending on who the MC is with and who is pregnant. There are almost 3,000 words and 203 renders (83 in 3 animations) in that single scene. Added to the first scene 4,214 words and 359 renders, the next update is already in 7,184 words and 562 renders for finished scenes. Right now compiling and sending to proofread.

The third scene is underway, not yet tested or finished render...

First Year

Today My Dorm turns one year old.

On this day last year I published v.0.1 and it has been an amazing journey thanks to all of you.

I wanted to do something cool to celebrate it, and in the end it was a mess. I wanted to make an image with the 21 girls introduced so far, but my computer can't handle it. A lot of crashes later I decided to do it in parts. July 2023

My company has approved my vacation for July and I will be going on a trip with my family for a few days. The dates have yet to be confirmed.

This obviously means that I will not be able to work on My Dorm during those days, so I will stop the payment cycle. That may lead to some questions:

v.0.10B Preview (III) - Changing Looks

When you have a model at home she will most likely give you fashion and makeup tips. In the next update, Kim will help Emma do a makeover (and she'll give me an excuse to do a poll on Emma's new hairstyle).

The second scene is now finished (this is the beginning of the third). 562 renders between the first two scenes and 6,008 words in Spanish (which will be around 6,500 in English).

If I keep going at this pace I'll have the next update ready in a couple of weeks.
