Before, After & Alternate

Yesterday and today I had two shoots with clients who were after two different vibes.  I used the same lighting setup and treated the resulting images differently, and I think I achieved exactly what was desired.

So, for my beautiful Patrons, here's a look at two different outcomes from the same photo, featuring Nomes' fabulous light-reflectin' body.  =)

Gallery Overhaul

Sometimes, when I see someone doing something interesting or I've developed a rapport with someone after a number of visits to their workplace, I invite them to a photoshoot.  Maybe they're a young girl javelin thrower i pass on the street, they're returning from practice with their mom, or maybe they're the yoga instructor at the Adidas shop, or whatever.

I politely mention that I'm a photographer, tell them that, if they're interested, I'd love to do a photoshoot with them...

Pole with Danielle

Here's one of my favourite athletes, who I've been working with for ten years now.  She's one of the nicest people and she's crazy strong, and here's a gallery from our most recent shoot in the studio.

Before and After: Danielle

Danielle mentioned that it was her ten year pole-iversary, and what do you know, it's my ten year pole-iversary too.  Our shoot to mark the occasion was spectacular.

Here's a before and after showing off how easy she makes things for me.  Tweak the colours and it's basically done.  =)

Problem Viewing Posts?

I was alerted today to a problem with patrons unable to log in to my website, and it seems like pausing the payments for October is the reason.  The software that connects Patreon to my site is unable to deal with 'still a patron but didn't pay this month' and so isn't letting anyone log in.

I believe I've fixed it for today's post, and it should work for the rest of the posts this month, but if I go back and fix all the old posts I'll have to re-un-fix them again in a few weeks, ...

A look back at Kaicee

This is a gallery from 2011, featuring a stack of never before seen photos, and a bit of analysis of my old style.  Which was, it must be said, effectively random.

Available for all patrons.  =)

September Update

First up, I've paused the charges for you beautiful people.  You won't be charged for October, but you'll still get access to anything I post.  I did this because, well, I'm still not posting much of anything.  I appreciate your support so much, but I can't keep accepting it while I'm not living up to my end of the deal.

I've started shooting again, slowly.  I'm not in any rush to take risks with anyone's health, and to be quite frank, the stress of existing in thes...

Before and After 8 Years

Eight years ago my photo process was very different.  I didn't edit at all, and I cropped way too tightly.  This before and after is a result of a friend posting an image we created in 2012, and I realized that, wow, I could do this way better now.

Why Ero-Sky

At the moment I'm still not shooting.  I was about to resume some limited shoots but covid's second wave is about to hit Queensland, with an explosion in cases in other states, confirmed cases sneaking across the border, and one confirmed transmission from those sneaks living in the next suburb, about 5 minutes from my studio.

So I'm digging through old archives to bring up some new content, and what I'm finding is every good shoot is already up there, except for all the nudes. &n...

Coming out of Lockdown

It's been rough, photography-wise, since we had to stop meeting with other people.  Australia's on a decent trajectory right now, and restrictions are starting to relax.  We'll know if it's going to work in a couple of weeks, I guess.

And that's when I hope to slowly start getting back into shooting.  People are already asking to book shoots, and I've got a list of bodies I hope to get in front of the camera soon.

Thank you all for being here.  I really hope t...

MadelinBisby - Before & After

There's not much going on at the moment, for reasons I am certain you understand.  But today I had the creative urge for the first time in a while and I started digging into one of the last shoots I did before The Virus.  I hope you like them.  <3

Tough times for us all

The beginning of the year is always rough.  With the coronavirus, it's even worse.  What few shoots I had lined up I am postponing, probably until May.

I'm going to do my best to find some good stuff in the archives but with so few shoots coming up, if you're concerned about actually getting something for your (very much appreciated) support, now's the time to cancel.

Thank you all so much for being awesome.  <3

360° photo: Rosefall

From a recent shoot in the Rosefall series, here's a 360° action shot.

Setting up all those rosepetals is time consuming but I think it was totally worth it in the end.  =)

Changes, Shoots & Stuff

Thank you all for being awesome.  I'm doing my best to earn your support and I'm feeling optimistic about that right now.  ^__^

1. I've got a pole dancer gallery coming up, featuring a very excellent girl named Jeanie.

2. I've launched the new ERO-SKY site, posted the galleries for you all, and I'm working on adding to those galleries.  I recently shot the first gallery, a rope shoot, and it should go live tomorrow.  It features ropes by someone who isn't me, s...

The New Year has Begun

Well, it's started.  6th January, first shoot in a few hours.  New client, pole shoot.  Dunno if there'll be anything to share, but it's nice to be shooting again.  So much preparation, the studio's a mess, batteries need to be charged, etc etc.  And where's my camera?

In other news, a whole new photo brand is about to launch, exclusively sharing nudes, ropes and similar.  The website's still rough but it's always that last 10% that takes 90% of the time. ...

The problem with humans

Recently I asked a girl if she'd be interesting in modeling for me, and she was super keen on the idea, but then her mother saw my gallery and ...  She's probably not going to be in front of my camera any time soon.

My main portfolio is about a third athletic nudes and shibari and that's just not going to fly.  When last time I conducted a poll on facebook, 100% of my existing clients said they wouldn't be put off by the nudes.  But it's the new clients, the people who do...

Where we at

By way of a status report...

This is the slow time of year.  This year has been slower overall and this season is the worst time.  I've had four shoots this month, and they're all client shoots without a lot of images to show off (as opposed to my own projects which generally result in more stuff to share).

Which means, my dearest friends, that you're making my life better with your support but you're not really getting anything for it and for that I am very sorry.  ...

Four with Meg

I've been out of the country for a couple of weeks, which is why I've been quiet lately.

I just posted four pictures with Meg, from last month, which I've been forbidden to release until now.  Do check it out.  =)

Welcome to you new supporters!  I thank you for being here and I hope to make you happy.

More to come ASAP.  =)

Stuff is coming up!

I realized I have a great shoot with Mel to share, and I'll get that up before the weekend.

In the meantime, here's a shot from a recent shoot with Georgia Rose, a circus performer who was in town recently and stopped by the studio before jetting off again.

I think this was just a snap of a transition before she achieved the pose she was aiming for, but I love the strength and calm composure of it.  More of her to come as soon too.  =)

In other news, slow month ...

Oh yeah I should probably mention I fell off my bike last month and cracked a rib.  It's slowed me down a lot, but I aim to make up for it this month.  I've scheduled the following fun-filled shoots which I think you will enjoy:

More pole with Katana (see previous post)
Rope with Melanie (from the Pantheon project)
Rope with Kimi
Sunset in the tall grass with Kat

All four of these should be finished this month.

AND I just bought a new lens, the crazy wid...
