I can finally release this map that I did for a magazine collab, a swirly maelstrom type map with a bunch of variants, great for a tense and challenging encounter or epic reveal of a big bad or something, I'm sure you guys have a lot of great ideas of how this can be used :)

Quick update post, I've got an upcoming collab release soon, It was going to be on the 7th but that has been pushed up to somewhere between the 10th and the 14th. I've finished the base map for that and am working on the variants, gonna be a funky map that I hope everyone enjoys, plus a bunch of goodies from the collab partner!

Got a really cool release for you, the Mushroom Kingdom! As mentioned in the title it is my largest map to date, I think... I'm pretty sure it is lol Lets just assume it is.

Hey everyone!
Got a new map for you, and it's kind of a weird one :D Basically the egg/sphere looking thing is a solar collector that draws in the sun's energy and stores it like a giant battery. The energy over flows a little bit and causes the surroundings to do strange things, like cause rocks to levitate and swirl around it, and huge crystalized solar energy to grow randomly which is cool cause they look very pretty, touch at your own risk though as they could be dangerous. 2022-01-12 15:18:10 +0000 UTC View Post

Here are the high res files for the Generic Path maps as promised, I also made 25 snow ones in addition to the wood ones for a total of 50 generic path maps.
At some point I want to make more of these for different biomes, desert, feywild etc etc. Not sure when that'll be but it'll come at some point in the future.

Today I grace you with a map that has many lights apparently, I didn't really have a plan in mind for this one, only that I wanted to try something that has 'depth'. And by depth I mean a foreground element (the blurred branches on either side of the map), a mid ground element (the playable area) and a background element (the giant branches descending into the fog).

Hello!
Feast your eyes on the Tree of Life battlemap! I've pretty happy with this one, I think the lighting is pretty cool and the variants are interesting, especially the ghost tree (Tree of death, I guess?).
The cliff/climbing area has given me a map idea I think I'm gonna try out at some point, see if I can make it work, but yeah I hope you enjoy this one!

Wotcha Kobold lovers!
First map of the month is the Thorny Pass map! Wanted to do a desert/dry location and also something with giant thorny vines, so here we are. This one was also a bit of a colour experiment, I wanted to see if I could do a deep red/orange palette without making it look like lava, but rather just the natural colour of the environment getting picked up by the light and becoming more saturated as it bounced around in the deeper areas.

Just a quick post with another variant for the recent release, I wasn't totally happy with the lighting and so I got some professional feedback from an environment artist called Tyler Edlin, great artist and really good teacher, and applied that to my piece and ended up with a variant that has more realistic lighting.

As I mentioned in my previous release, I took another crack at a spooky halloween map since I wasn't happy with the last one as a halloween themed piece.
I think this one is better with the spook factor so I hope ya'll enjoy it! There's non halloween variants too so it isn't limited to being a holiday map only.

Bit of a weird one, I actually set out to create a creepy halloween map and ended up with a cute farmhouse somehow. I didn't really like the direction it was going for a creepy map and considered just scrapping the whole thing but figured it was a perfectly usable map on it's own so decided to release it instead.

I was experimenting with a faster workflow for making maps with this one so it was intended to only be a smaller extra map release for this month but I needed up making a cool variant and some creature tokens for it too so it has ended up being a medium extra content release so enjoy I guess :D
Stainer of Karbon tier gets the fey path variant plus 2 insect creature tokens.
