The group of fighters in the final panel was by far the hardest thing to draw in this comic, which is why I did them first. I like to tackle my hardest challenges first and finish the easier ones later. Mature, huh?

After the wonderful reactions to the last Fortnite comic, I immediately decided to make another one. I also have to admit they're lots of fun to make, mostly because I discovered I love to create those Fortnite backgrounds. There's something fun about drawing those fields, hills, trees and lakes and I'm not sure what it is. But I'm loving it.
As usual, there's a bunch of hidden and not-so-hidden details in this one. I wasn't even trying this week. It just happens.

MAN the responses to this comic were nice! I must admit I was a bit scared of uploading a Fortnite comic since I had no idea if the fanbase is toxic or not. Turns out that the Fortnite community is super wholesome. Haven't felt this loved in weeks!
There aren't many hidden details in this comic (since I had to spent all my time animating that stupid dance), so this will be a short and sweet blog.
I'll confess: the animation took a LOT of time. But I had to make it as goofy/absurd as possible because I originally didn't even want to include the sixth panel, but I use a template with multitudes of two panels, so I had to use either four or six. So I figured I tried my best to recreate that weird swish dance as accurately as possible.

I was almost done with this comic when I realized that Ant-Man says "guys" but only Tony is there. So instead of changing "guys" to "Tony", I drew a last minute Steve Rogers in there, who I admittedly copy-pasted to each frame, that's why he looks like a happy cardboard cut-out!

While you're reading this I'm on a much needed holiday so I had to draw this in a quite a hurry. Which is why the first few frames are only half filled.
