Health Update- Coronavirus Concerns and Plans

I have been receiving countless updates from all around the internet regarding the current pandemic known as the Coronavirus, or COVID-19, and I want to provide an update on my plans to working through these uncertain times we are in.

March Patreon Set- Blender Progress

I have figured out how to import images as 2D planes, so now I can render these images directly from Blender. The first image is a render taken straight from there, while the 2nd is a screencap of how this has been set up. 

The lighting seems off, but if I can't fix it by the 20th, I will likely do last minute edits on Clip Studio Paint. Tomorrow I will get the next sketch for this set started. I have at least 3 pictures planned for this. 

March Patreon Set- Final Update for Tonight

So the plan I set in motion is working smoothly! I simply erased the background from the drawn sketch, exported the picture as a .png, and then I imported it to Blender. It works! 

I will be working on this set for the next few weeks. I will share more progress when I have more poses done. Since the background is pretty much complete, this project should go by much smoother than the last. The complete sequence will be ready March 20th. 

March Patreon Set Update- Background

I've sent a few updates on the background for the next set today, but here is the last one. I got the UV map for the file set up. 

The model is just a cube that Blender spawns for you to edit upon starting the software. I deleted one of the faces of the cube, adjusted the size of the cube, and that was how I got the model made. March Set Preview- Background Texture

So this month's set is going to be a bit of an experiment with Blender 2.8. I'm doing the background in 3D, and the drawings will be edited within the background. All the assets are being done in Clip Studio Paint EX, but the final composition is being done in Blender. This is a first, but I think this will be an interesting set. Urgent Update- Changes to my Patreon Page

EDIT: as of February 19th 2020, Patreon has replied back. It turned out what I had assumed was the issue was the issue, and has been resolved.

 Here's an old animation I worked on. This isn't tied to another future project, but my goal for this shot was to have the animation be smooth. I could probably expand upon this one day, but for now, I'm happy with what was done.

Gouache digital paint test

I wanted to give a new paint type on Clip Studio Paint a try. For a time, I've been looking for different brushes that I could use that did a better job of creating firmer, harder textures than my current set of brushes. I realized I had an entire section of brushes labeled "oil brushes", and I made this painting using the Gouache paint brushes set.

Kristina's Vacation- Posing and color blocking

I've said before that I expected to just paint the entire set. However, Magic-Kristina-KW helped out by providing poses for the whole set. I haven't added all the needed refs yet. I still have hands and feet to add for some of them, and even the head for the final picture. However, I still have to paint the outfit over her poses, which will be a challenge to make look realistic.

A quick update on the February Set

I was supposed to share an update on the February patron set today, but due to some personal issues going on, I was too stressed to do commissions on my Friday stream. I've had to make up for that by doing my commission stream on a Saturday, a day which I don't normally go live. 

Here is a small snippet of progress I put together, and I will share the rest later tonight. I'm sorry to post this late, but I hope to have all 5 pages prepped up before my next stream.

Practice Sketch Becomes Painting

Sometimes I feel like doing extra for a practice sketch. This one was something I put together in my off time, but I felt like putting some extra time into the painting. I never had an idea for the background, but I had fun with this.
