Extended Preview: Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon

Bridget and Mary Jo are back with another Sherlock Holmes riff!

It’s double-ya double-ya two and Sherlock once again faces off against Professor Moriarty - with nothing less than the future of England at stake!
Holmes must crack a secret - but cute - code to prevent Moriarty from selling an extremely accurate bomb sight to the Nazis (we hate those guys). View Post

Talkin' RiffTrax: Lovely But Deadly

Hello there, folks. Kevin Murphy here.

Wow. We really enjoyed the earnest dumbness of this film, chock full of Hollywood C-grade entertainers and stock TV actors who look a lot like Actual Stars (I’m talking to Karl Malden Guy right now). But this movie hits every 80’s button there is to hit, and then some. The only thing missing is Bad White Rap.

We had a lot of fun with this one and when we h...

Bill's favorite works of fiction for pandemics

Hello Patreon, Bill here -

Since we're all stuck inside together as our society collectively deals with the COVID-19 coronavirus, a few of my favorite works on this sort of subject sprang to mind, and I wanted to record my thoughts on them for you.

I hope this audio dispatch helps make your self-quarantine a tiny bit more enjoyable.

Patreon Extra: Lovely But Deadly

Hey Traxians,

Here's a little sneak peak into the script review process. Sometimes, a movie is so baffling we have to stop it and discuss.

In this video, Mike, Conor and I break down a classroom rock concert scene in a high school drug thriller called Lovely But Deadly, coming soon to a RiffTrax.com near you! If the phrase "classroom rock concert scene in a high school drug thriller" confuses you, don't worry, the clip and the movie itself will only leave you mo...

Extended Preview: Lady Mobster

Hi folks,

Erik here with a new Extended Preview for the latest riff from Bridget and Mary Jo, Lady Mobster!

Multiple Daytime Emmy also-ran Susan Lucci stars as the orphaned Laurel, who is adopted by a mobster family after her parents are murdered by hitmen. But being a high-powered attorney with a fine 80s wardrobe isn’t enough for this little lady!

Talkin' RiffTrax: Velvet Smooth

Velvet Smooth. She’s foxy. She’s funky. She’s sexy. She’s a little clumsy when it comes to quips and martial arts. But she's a private eye who fights for justice… I think, at least for a certain class of criminal.

Anyway, she seems very nice, and is by far the most pleasant person in this madhouse of a movie. But it’s a lot of fun, with some jaw-droppingly bad performances and utterly silly action scenes.

Folks, if you want the perfect romantic dinner/movi...

Talkin' Hijacked: Flight 285

Hey folks,

Mike, Kevin and Bill recorded our newest riff, Hijacked: Flight 285 a week or so ago (we typically receive their individual audio files several days prior to the release date, so we have time to edit them together, QC the results, and then prepare it for release).

Hi folks,

Erik here to kick off your weekend direct-to-video style with another Extended Preview. This time, for a movie riff that I feel is best explained in this single line from our product copy:

Lorenzo Lamas stars as a Bounty Tracker in the movie Bounty Tracker.
