We screened The Visitor quite a while ago at one of our RiffTrax houses in Nashville after a long day of rehearsing for a live show. In The Visitor, an intergalactic warrior and Jesus-figure team up to do battle with an 8-year-old demon girl and her pet bird. It's got ambitious cinematography, big name actors, and a score that makes The Goblin sound like they barfed on their Casios.
Add all these elements all together, and the result is a baffling mess, as incoherent as it is unintentionally funny.
